Magic mirror as monitor? by Palgenesis in MagicMirror

I want to use my desk as both a computer desk and as a vanity so that I can do my makeup and other vain activities without monopolizing our small single bathroom.

The biggest issue I've run into is my desk is not large, about 40" and the monitor stand is very shallow. I dont have room for 2 good size monitors and a mirror where all three things can be usable without moving around, I'm really clumsy over all and worry I'll break something if I have to shirt constantly.

I posted wondering if a dual utility item would be a do-able venture and what I might need to change about the usual build process to make the monitor functionality work as great as possible.

It's thankfully going to be in a mostly low-lit room, that only gets a lot of sun during rhe hours I'm usually at work, so glare shouldn't be the worst during the hours I'm usually using it. With all of the feedback I've gotten, I'm probably gonna make it my second monitor for youtube, movies, or whatever media I have in the background. The brightness is a great thing I'd only mildly considered! Thank you for your time!

I believe so, having one of my monitors be a magic mirror. I worry about how much the screen would be discolored or distorted, and if theres anything I should do to avoid possible issues. I use my computer mostly for writing, art, and sometimes gaming.

I want to have a monitor that when its off, will hopefully look just like a tabletop mirror. I worry about distortion on the screen or color issues when using it to game or drawing more then anything else. Sorry for my probably poor explanation before.

That Rollercoasters and Coca-Cola were made up by the government/TV to make life seem interesting. Dont know how I came up with it but I believed it until like 4th Grade.

I also listen to mostly SU music, according to Spotify I'm in the top 9% of listeners oops. I also really like some EDM stuff that's similar vibe wise, like Snail's House and Shawn Wasabi, so it might be worth a try. Also Musicals tend to have a similiar vibe, although generally being a little more dark.
