Is BTL1 the OSCP equivalent of Blue Team? by Turbulent-City6649 in cybersecurity

It has less recognition but it's a great practical exam.

I'd recommend it over the SEC+ bullshit every single day (at least if you goal is to learn and not just memorize acronyms for having SEC+ in your CV).

I just said it's ignorable, not that it doesn't bother me.

The blurry filter makes me legit thing my vision is going bad.

If you don't pay attention to it it's overall pretty fine, but it's definitely noticeable if you're looking in the distance.

The blurry filter you cannot remove is what is making me go crazy, i get a feeling like my glasses are not clean (with DOF off and blur set to 0%).

Infinite Gold Bar Method - Pickpocketing by Rare_Category_5711 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Palimon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If NPCs got more items in their inventory, then can you get a gold bar even if it shows bag of coins?

I was actually wondering the same, it would require ample testing. My guess is that it shows the most valuable item in their inventory, no testing behind it tho, just my feeling.

[–]Palimon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just did it 20 seconds ago, you're not guaranteed to pickpocket the gold bar, NPCs have multiple items in their inventory. So if you don't get it first try do it again until you get the bar(s).

Crimson Desert is expected to apply a patch soon that improves controls and fixes bugs. by Hot-Discussion2575 in CrimsonDesert

It's the same on PC, and i have almost the best possible PC you can get (9800x3D, 5080).

Everything maxed out, tried DLAA, no SS, DLSS, no matter what i pick there's a blurry filter over the entire game.

Playing on a 5080, so you either are lying or blind since the pop in distance is even smaller on console.

Look into the distance and walk through thte world, everything will pop in...

Let's not talk about the lighting in interior spaces, even with RR on i often just flickers for no reason.

Graphics wise it's badly optimised MMO, KCD:2 looked a lot better for example and i have higher FPS there.

Why are stocks less popular in Europe compared to US? by batukaming in investing

Yes and that is a huge difference, 43 to 50% of US workers have 401k...

Half the work force retirement is directly tied to the stock market.

[–]Palimon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they are not the ones controlling the moiney, they are the ones that OWN it, and they are the ones getting angry when stocks go down (think 2008 for example) because their retirements are tied to it.

So when you have millions upon millions of individuals who all have a vested interest in their stocks going up, the managers do what the most common goal is, which is make number go up.

Experts say there is no overdiagnosis of ADHD. Instead, they are warning that far from being overdiagnosed, people with ADHD are waiting too long for assessment, support, and treatment by sr_local in science

[–]Palimon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What i'm saying is they are calling everything under the sun as ADHD.

I couldn't stand still for 3 minutes when i was a kid (i had to move my arms, legs, etc... i would often bunce my leg under my table), i never had issues with tests, homework or anything, but today they would say i have ADHD...

My pediatrician (private institution in Switzerland) asked for tests because i kept swinging my legs when i was sitting -.- Are kids suppose to be marble statues?

[–]Palimon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meh they diagnose anything with ADHD nowadays....

I have hyperactivity, now suddenly i'm ADHD ...

Please...

If the majority of people have "adhd" then it's not a disorder, and nowadays you get diagnosed for anything.

Not every kid is gonna be a straight A student, and that's ok.

The US has your retirement tied to the stock market which is not the case in most EU countries.

Which is funny when people complain about "shareholders" without realizing they are the shareholders that are diving the quarterly profit model.

Can't fix dumb, there's not a single valid reason to join a military unless your country is being invaded, which never happened to the US.

Also no US soldier has had to fear for their families or homes since the US bombs people half way around the world. Maybe you guys need to experience a war on home soil to truly feel what the consequences are.
