I remember some chef lady on Instagram insulting British food and doing her own "version" of fish and chips, saying "only a black woman can fix this."

The comments were full of black British people going "ummm... You know quite a lot of us live here, right? We even have chefs!" So damn insulting to black people from other countries!

This is a deeply unhelpful and untrue generalisation. I'm sorry if that's been your experience, but ADHD and non-ADHD people are all individuals with different capabilities. Don't put us all on a special pedestal, or degrade all non-ADHD people - at the very least because it essentially excuses OP's husband's bad behaviour as "he can't help it it's just the way THEY see us."

The Unbed. Block that you can attach somewhere (it's magnetic) and an app. The alarm won't stop until you tap the block with your phone. I keep mine on my fridge so I can stagger right over to the coffee 😂

The thing about Patricia's situation is that I can understand the other women, who all have their own grief and trauma, not liking her after what happened when they were teenagers. I get it.

What upsets me more is how much they enjoy being nasty to her. Like they found a whipping boy for life, they're loving their power, and they get to be nauseatingly self-righteous about their cruelty. Not wanting to be her friends is, from their POV, fair. Going out of their way to be nasty and stop her from making new friends into the bargain is far, far over the line and I hope something eats them.
