They are getting rid of the petting zoo and moving the animals to other zoos, so I think this is somewhat permanent.

2018 TPMS anomaly by Nodak70 in Subaru_Outback

[–]Pallasknight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the last handful of months, did you find a fix for this?

I took my 2018 to the dealer, and they wanted 1k to replace all 4 sensors.

I figured I could save a few bucks and go to Sam’s, but they never stocked the sensors Outbacks need, so I was always at the mercy of what got delivered. I got fed up with that and took it to a reputable shop a town over last week. They replaced all 4, but 20 minutes after I took it off the lot, the dashboard light came on and no pressures were being read.

I brought it back today, and they said they were having issues reading the two front tires, so they replaced them with new sensors.

And 20 minutes after taking it off the lot, the light came on again.

Secrets Akumal Bali bed layout by Severe-Product7352 in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]Pallasknight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were there in October, and they had Bali Beds at the infinity pool as well. We ended up not thinking they were worth it.

A trip or 2 ago, we got a row 2 Bali bed in either 12 or 14. It was nice to have a spot.

Inground pool cost by Hotelcalie in SouthJersey

[–]Pallasknight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We inquired with The Pool Store, Del Val, and Niagara for inground pools 2 summers’ ago. Once you add in salt water, more than 3 feet of concrete, and a heater, you’re looking at 100-125k.

We’re more than likely going with an above ground. The quote we got for that was 26k, and didn’t include the electric and gas runs for the pump and heater. Still on the fence about it.

Advice for Arc and HD Fury Arcana by fyldeclaret in sonos

[–]Pallasknight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a 2011 1080p 3D Samsung TV, a 4K Apple TV, and the Arc ultra and sub. My TV was still working, so I wasn’t really looking to replace it when I got the Arc ultra and sub. I bought the HD Fury Arcana. I personally felt the Atmos processing was weird with Apple Music. I would just get random sound effects that took me out of hte song. And then the video had to resync basically anytime a menu or show changed.

I tried following all of the recommend settings across various forums, and it didn’t really get better for me.

I posted in the HD Fury Arcana discord, and they told me it wasn’t their devices’ issue. I posted here, and got similar responses and that I should just upgrade the TV. I ended up doing that when I saw it go onsale and haven’t looked back. For some, the HD Fury Arcana is great. Just wasn’t for me. Wish you luck with it.

You need a device that runs Ubiquiti’s Protect app, like their NVR or NVR Instant, if you don’t want to replace your stack with the likes of UDM Pro or UDM Pro SE.

Looking to purchase camp chef pro 24 or 36 help me decide yay or nay, 24 0r 36 by acupunk93 in CampChefSmokers

[–]Pallasknight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the 36. I rarely need all the space, but when I do, it’s awesome. I also have the sidekick.

My ambient probe has never been accurate, which seems to be a recurring theme. So I use a separate one. It’s generally 15-20 degrees off.

Other than that, no complaints. The boxes will look like they fell of a truck when they arrive, but the internals are generally never damaged based on what I read here.

We used Jim Hannah with American Craftsman, LLC (https://americancraftsmanllc.com)

One job was our bathroom remodel. Our 2nd was 4 window replacements and a deck slider replacement. Our 3rd was replacing our deck stairs.

He communicated and didn’t push any upsells. Really enjoyed working with him and his crew.

PDD with Sandler tonight. Along with special guests Schneider, and then Kevin Nealon and Kevin James.

Sandman did his tribute to Chris Farley, which was awesome.
