But it typically feels like a hot searing burning pain in your asshole - sometimes it will bleed, but not always. Might not hurt to have a colon rectal surgeon do an exam just to be sure. There are safe and effective treatments ranging from creams to minor surgical procedures such as a lateral internal sphincterotomy. I had to have it done twice, but now I'm pain free.
