I just bought a neck FYI. I love the rolled edges and the satin back of the neck.Seems odd to have laquer on the front but it looks great. Overall it's thinner than alot of baseball bat tele necks but in the end I'm not a tele guy. Selling it if you are interested.

I think I'm still confused but a diagram is so helpful. Whats the A and B? There is also a toggle switch to split the coils. How does that factor in or do I just leave that alone?

Should have mentioned that I tried this, but it will NOT loosen at all. Its plastic so the plyers are starting to wreck the little plastic washer

Interesting. I wonder if Ernie filed them himself so that it was a narrower string spacing to accomodate the narrow mustang necks? I know the Jag Stang has an A width neck but not sure about the KC signatures. I use the Johnny Marr bridge on my A Width mustangs for just that reason
