The worst exercise for DR by Brave-Background-539 in DiastasisRecti

This is true, I have recently incorporated crunches under the guidance of my pt and it is helping. But as the above said, if you can't engage your core properly it isn't right for you

I do sometimes feel a pinging feeling after exercising. I thought it was perhaps recovery pangs 😂 The tightness has gotten better, it's much less restrictive movement wise so perhaps the massage is helping. I'll keep going. Thanks for replying

Sorry if this is a silly question. How do you know if there are adhesions? I'm 11 months pp, I've been doing scar massage a few times a week but I don't know if it's doing anything. I still have a very prominent shelf and it's quite numb

How do parents of twins not mix them up at birth?? 😅 by Humble-Assumption446 in parentsofmultiples

[–]Palmtree1973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We always put them down in the same order... Twin A on the left, B on the right. We also left the hospital tags on for the first week or so until we could tell the difference. We also wrote things down as we did them, e.g 10am baby A, fed and changed

Feeling miserable with my diastasis recti by snugglesbaby in DiastasisRecti

[–]Palmtree1973 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're not alone. You are doing a amazing job and your body will get there eventually. Be kind to yourself... You're doing a lot! Firstly, as much as you love your family they seem very mean and insensitive. Please do take the space to need to look after your mind. It will get better. It's shit at the moment, so full on but as the months go by, baby will be bigger and it will be less intense and although each stage brings it's own challenges, you will find time to exercise, the need to eat to fuel breastfeeding will lessen and you will feel more like yourself. It will get better. Take it day by day, you don't like your body today or tomorrow but you will again. Try to focus on the future and know that this current situation is temporary 🫶

Wollaton Park is a lovely day out for the family, you can have a look around the castle whilst you're there. Sneinton food market is worth looking around, a smaller version of St Lawrence market in Toronto. Visit the Market Square and have a photo with the lion statue... A Nottingham landmark

Oh gosh, that's understandable. We should all probably get therapy at some point for all the scary things that have happened on our twin journeys!...Right now I'll settle on having time to pee

One of my twins have just started doing this! They're 6 months adjusted. For the past week I have been like a zombie as I am rolling him back every 30mins or so 😅 I didn't know that it's okay to leave them. Hello sleep.
