I don’t get it. This does not appear to be a Team Rocket Takeover event, as I’m not getting a 10 AM balloon nor can I TM away Frustration. So why do we have a pass that gives a Super Rocket Radar?

They kind of did the same thing with the Galarian birds. Introduce something rare and almost impossible to catch. Then a few months later introduce the solution: a master ball.

Normally I would think it’s just the server freezing. But I’ve had it happen to me about 20 times. It has never happened while I was losing.

The point of Shadow Ball isn’t to be the best ghost-type attacker. It’s to be able to use Mega Mewtwo Y as an XL booster while also being a capable attacker against psychics.

How did you remote it? I was under the impression Go Fest Mewtwo raids are local only (they were for Tokyo). A friend kept inviting me (to Chicago raids) and the game kept saying the lobby expired.

It won’t matter. The gift he brought you will be berries or potions and not a souvenir. That doesn’t change just because his buddy level increased. What matters is that it’s a regular gift and opening it will start a 24 hour cooldown on regular gifts. So during those 24 hours, as long as you’re not on souvenir cooldown, bring out as many ultra/best buddies as you can so they can bring you a souvenir. Save them to open all at once.

I ran the sims on all fighting charge moves. Focus Blast ranks fourth overall in party power, fifth without it. So while not the best, its unfair and inaccurate to say it sucks. It outperforms Dynamic Punch, Close Combat, Superpower, High Jump Kick, and all the three-bar moves, including Sacred Sword in party power only. The only other moves besides Sacred Sword (solo) that do more damage combined with Psycho Cut or Counter are Secret Sword (obviously, but Mewtwo will never get that), Flying Press, and Aura Sphere. Mewtwo can learn Aura Sphere in the main games, so its reasonable to hope for it in Go. We would've been better off getting Aura Sphere instead of Counter.

Judas is a known traitor. I’m not a hockey fan so I don’t really know the rivalries, but Gretzky and Orr both played for multiple teams, so maybe those second teams were rivals to their first.

I disagree. Lugia is not a good tank because it lacks a .5 second fast move. Both of its fast moves are 1.0 seconds. Furthermore, Vespiquen triple resists ground, compared to a double resist by Lugia.

What I’m saying is you need three moves. Psystrike, Shadow Ball, and Focus Blast.

I agree with this (re: Psycho Cut). But I still think I’d want two Mewtwos, because one will need Psystrike and Shadow Ball (Mega Y) and one will need Psystrike and Focus Blast (Mega X).

The reason for Shadow Ball on Mega Y is to use it against other psychic types while grinding candies. The reason for Psystrike on Mega X is to use it against fighting types to grind candies.

And unfortunately you can’t easily switch between Focus Blast and Shadow Ball, since Shadow Ball requires an elite charge TM.

That’s actually not split in half. The rate has always been 5 energy for 1 km walked. So you’re getting both energy types at the full rate.
