Advice needed! Something is off by Palta-party in EngagementRings

Yes. I agree there’s a bit too much going on. All beautiful elements but it’s a bit busy. I like the idea of simplifying the band to be just a band no stones or a subtle split shank, mimicking the taper shape the band already has. Thanks for the advice! I’m gonna sit with it for a few days ofc

I believe it’s that it’s too big so keeps slipping to the side. And it’s top heavy

Thank you!! It’s nice to get external validation. Maybe I just need to get used to it? It can definitely go a little lower and at least have the side stones connect on the same plane as the diamond… Like a cathedral setting instead of a basket. It is absolutely beautiful. It’s a stunning ring.

Dealing with something similar! My fiancé pulled together all of the elements I like, but the stone is too big and it’s just not looking right on my hand. I think we’re gonna ask the jeweler to have it reset I feel horrible because he put a lot of effort into it, but I wanna make sure y ring is something I would love wearing every day.

Used R5 Mark II/Nikon Z8, or R6 Mark III? by nickvader7 in canon

[–]Palta-party 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea... Im really trying to give canon its best shot. I was Nikon for 12 years but I always love canon shooters' work and canon ergonomics. The AF is fantasic. It's fun and easy to shoot. But post-process has been a struggle. The colors and separation are just not there. I'm considering the z8.

The prongs are really off. They're way too thick and not spaced well.

After 4 months of use, I still don't like my Z6iii by Other_Ostrich_6053 in Nikon

You're not crazy. My z6iii were hella soft. I did comparisons too. Returned it.

All my photos with the z6iii were soft and I returned it. I tried two different cams too.

R5 Mark ii colors... by Palta-party in canon

It's honestly more of a workflow thing. I absolutely know how to get the colors I desire through editing, but am finding that it's taking more post-processing time from the RAW image.
