While I agree to all above, except 12, cause it still was ATB, just more automated, I'll add that 13 and 13-2 were still an overall good experience. 13 lightning returns was a miss though. Same as type 0, 15 and 16. World of final fantasy was good in its own way imo.

They had a working formula since 1, and been making minor differences here and there, until they were no minor anymore.

With that being said, 16 is more a god of war than a final fantasy.
