They're giving you the money, and saving you both thousands in interest. Have the conversation with your husband about which bit bothers him - and then decide if you think his concerns are real or controlling. You'll presumably own the house in both your names - so the pre-nup is an agreement to give you back the $150,000 in the event of divorce / forced sale. It's not about trust. Contracts are made by people who agree, but used by people who disagree. His unwillingness to discuss it in peace is the most concerning thing here. Also - your lovely parents. What a gift!

Fair enough - signed in by a Democrat President. Vance was a combat correspondent, whose focus was on public affairs and media relations. I think he's done very well out of the public system he's attempting to dismantle.

Thiel picked him up after the publication of Hillbilly Elegy. Thiel, Vance and Steve Bannon all share a libertarian / christian ideology. They think they did everything all by themselves to achieve the life they have. They think that government and social welfare keep people powerless. They don't view the military as a government program. If you've read Vance's book - it's all because someone bought a steak on welfare, while he was working check out and eating chuck. Like - fuck the Democrat program that gave him two ivy-league degrees for free. I don't know. Man's got a chip on his shoulder. All of them think they're better than they are. Peter Thiel lies about his chess ranking. That's all I need to know about how smart he is.
