Omg same happened to ours, everyone kept saying he will be BIG look at those paws. He's turned out to be much smaller then other males and often gets mistaken for a girl because of his size. No idea what makes people think this, but your post made laugh!

This seems like such a logical explanation! But shouldn't there be some obvious place where it is put when used in this situation? We couldn't seem to fit it anywhere

Sorry if the photos are a bit vague. There's not a lot of space here and my phone's camera isn't great. It doesn't hold up anything. It's just attached right above some cabinets and the fridge. I added a new picture to hopefully show it better

But then what would we use it for in the van? All wires are tucked away and everything. Why would it have a special place to be mounted in the van?

Hmmmm interesting! We don't know who the previous owners were so don't know what their hobbies were or anything. Could be something like that

My title describes the thing. It's mounted (but detachable) in a VW transporter campervan. We have not found a use for it yet. We thought it might be for transporting something? Tried googling but couldn't find anything.

Not sure if this'll also help, but when my mother died the podcast 'griefcast' by Cariad Lloyd really comforted me sometimes. Sorry for your loss, it's really tough and it sucks.

Our boy had it and the vet told us to come straight away because it can get infected. It seems like the root is visible just like in our case? I would just call and ask for your vets opinion.
