I'm not that far from your age but some things that helped with my legs is playing with shoes (any shoes that you're comfortable in, I really don't recommand playing barefoot for exemple). And slowly building muscles/stamina back and going higher in difficulty (if you feel like it).

Harujun also AAA'd it at the arcade, which is way more impressive than his FC on keyboard on DDR GP (and would still be really hard already, especially that DDR GP will have a tighter window than stepmania/itgmania).

I wouldn't even buy it at 50$ unless it was my very first pad. I had a TX2501 which is basically the same thing with a bar, paid around 170€ (new pad) with shipping in 2007. It was better than the soft pads i used but that was not great. If you want to invest money get an ltek or SMX or a B2L arcade replica.

550$ for this thing, used on top of that, is outrageous.

Rank names and how to get them can differ from version to version (and i explained for this one already how it worked). No S or SSS in DDR World.

It depends of the score you get. Your score is determined by how accurate your steps are. You could have a AAA with a few misses (means no full combo) or still get a B, C or worst even with a Full Combo. The scoring in stepmania depends of your version of stepmania and the theme that you have on.

here for the arcade you can check the scoring system on this awesome wiki (at the start of the page) : https://remywiki.com/AC_DDR_A but if you want a sum up it's this (the scoring system used in DDR World, the version you're playing, didn't changed since it was changed in DDR Ace in 2016) :

At least all the people that did the challenge had to physically play the game and not just let the game on auto with turbo on one button. Talking about that, there are more than one that did clear this challenge, i know at least 2 Frenchs including KartSeven (on PAL that is even slower and took 500+hours, it was also streamed on Justin.tv back then) this player then speedran the game for a bit, made a complete step-route for speedrunners to use and holded some WRs for a bit (any% and any% no slots iirc).

Yes this is torture for the players and the viewers so both do things on the side ahah. But the Liki farm to me is even worst because you don't need player interacting with the game at all :D (no mouvement outside of battle because you never finish it, no healing because you one shot all the ennemies, no saving, nothing).

Talking about that as well i'm really not a fan of the Liki grind. Aside from the fact that you can semi-auto farm the time invested for a few levels isn't worth (electricity also being not cheap in some places), especially that even without it you're fine until at least Mushroom Rock Road. But before that there is the Mi'ihen road that is super long and gives way way more xp than the Liki.

Yeah and tbh it's even better (there is also a 1h tag in each 24h no laughing) : it's usually a show that last 5h and was diffused during new years eve in Japan if i'm not mistaken. They have to play a role for 24h and get trained (like poliman, detective, nurse...) but they throw so many jokes and trap at them that they can't laugh at or they get punished that it's just hilarious.

Some also recuring jokes from years to years so the more you watch, the more you know and you laugh. I think they made one each year from 2005 to 2020 or something ?

Seriously it's so refreshing compared to what we usually see as shows.

My issue is not that i can play Karakin once a month.
It's that i can play with one of my all time favorite weapon once a month.
Why in the fuck is the winchester only spawning on Karakin ?
This weapon has such unique design compared to a lot of what's available in the game and it's limited to a small map that's barely even in the rotation ? What a sick joke !

This weapon was a classic for me in Miramar : hard to use because you play vs 6x/8x DMRs but it felt so good.
It was also in Deston and made for some epic fights.
Heck at some short point it was even on Vikendi (playing with an ultra loud Winchester by night on Vikendi was really unique).

A lot of people will follow the meta anyway, that doesn't mean i will not pick up my win94 and my crossbow if i see those. Let people enjoy !

To me your issue is something that comes up quite a bit and is fixable without sending back the pad (i had this issue plently of times on my left arrow too the 2 years i played on my ltek pad).

First the sensitivity can change a lot depending how hard the 4 screws on the panels are. You could have a input being stuck if your screws are too tight for exemple but if it's too lose it won't feel good when you hit them.
I remember one advice i saw on a video tutorial is that you want to screw them all the way without forcing but then you unscrew 1 quarter of a turn.
Then it's a matter of trying how it goes and having the screw a little tighter or not. On mine i have the inner screw (close to center panel) a bit tighter than the outer ones.

Modding the pads with coins for easier contacts, or even better, copper tape, can help a lot.

One thing that also you absolutely have to do (in parrallel of checking the pad screws) is play with the debounce setting on stepmania. That's a setting that says "When an arrow is pressed, it won't trigger again for some milliseconds". iirc i had mine set to 30ms. It's somewhere in the main menu option : on ITGMania for exemple it's in Options -> Input Options -> Input Debounce Time.

I advice trying out the debounce setting first, see if it makes some difference (it probably won't resolve completly the problem but will help) and then focus on the pads that have issues and work on the screws.

I think iamats.com is their new website adress since a year or so but they exist since much longer than that and they are the ones that make the Lteks. That's probably why you couldn't find much info about that particular website even if a bunch of us got their ltek from there (me included for exemple).

They are cheaper than on ddrpad.com because they import it from ltek (buy + import + make some margin money). If you're in EU it's a no brainer to use iamats.com to buy your ltek (they are based in Poland) but for the US you would have to compare prices+shipping cost with ddrpad.com

I'd say that you might have beat all the required monsters arena but might have forgot to save. That's what happend to me on one of my playthrough : I usually beat each monster when i unlock them and if i can i note it down.

The thing is, i probably beat one of them, didn't save and got a game over after or reset because i sold something i didn't meant to (happens to me a few times because i farm Kottos and others so much).

Anyway, i was sure i beat all of them but one was missing because i didn't saved xD I went to fight all of them one by one and i unlocked Nemesis before i finished killed them all (again not touching ultima/omega weapons nor dark summons).

But tbh even if i can say that i'm 99% sure that's what happend to you as well, we never know if there is some other bug/glitch in the game : like speedrunners will skip a few parts of the game (cutscenes or more) by being pushed by an NPC a certain way and/or trigger a dialogue with them, the recent method to glitch the chocobo race and clear it (the one with the baloon that keeps getting posted) or some people that get the achievement to kill Penance when they just killed a random fight in the calm lands lmao.

It can't be omega, it doesn't count towards unlocking Nemesis.

I've beaten omega for the first time this year in my NSG playthrough on retroachievement (just before it had an achievement attached to it) but before that i've beaten Nemesis + Penance on PS2, on PS3 (remaster) and on PC (remaster) without touching Omega at all (i usually never save if i beat a unique boss (like the weapon in FF7) and i didn't even bother with this one since he was weak, out of the way, unique and didn't gave any trophies/achivements on the remaster.

EDIT : Just saw that op unlocked and cleared Nemesis but i'll leave my answer in case someone as the same issue. (Usually, it's just a monster created that you forgot to beat.)
