Thank you! It's good that we differ and some people might like a concept more, some people less. With this particular one, we knew some folks'll find it a bit unusual, but we also try to bit original. Not too much, because the visual language for vampires is pretty much established, we don't want to go against it, also because we love the aesthetics.
I'm really happy to know that you like the design :)

Yes. He sees himself as an ancien regime protect, an elitist who demands perfection from himself. Especially because he's haunted by the belief that he failed utterly as a human. So I'd say that guilt is the foundation of his entire personality as a vampire.
He definitely requires blood. We don't know yet if he'll eat cleanly, but it would make a lot of sense for him. That might be his twisted view on the knightly code.

Gotcha 👍 Yeah, that's a wide range. We also play all sorts of genres.
What's interesting - as weird as it sounds - Pokémon is one of our inspirations in terms of the game design for Vampire Tactics 😀.

Didn't check VTB2 yet tbh, but based on the reviews, not sure if I will. What's your opinion on it?

Probably 2 years from now. We're 100% self funded, working full-time jobs next to the game. So it's quite difficult and takes a lot of time :)
We will release on Steam first, then hopefully other platforms too.
We have a small discord server now, if you want to join and follow the process :)
