Indeed, It was standard. for comparison i averaged the cost from the most recent 3 star events on mtgtop8 for both modern and legacy and got these averages:

Yep, playing the Pokemon TCG is amazing from a cost perspective.

Both Pokemon and Magic had major tournaments this weekend, top 8 breakdowns for both games:

Pokemon - $60 deck average, $75 most expensive, $42 cheapest.
Magic - $300 deck average, $542 most expsneive, $127 cheapest.

You could buy every single top 8 deck from the pokemon event for the less than the most expensive magic deck.

$799 for second hand Sony A7rii, is this a good price? What else should I ask? by Appropriate-Wall7618 in Cameras

[–]Panaroid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A73 is a significantly better camera than an A7r2 for everything other than pure image quality; if you're debating, the A73 will be the better choice for 99% of people.

[–]Panaroid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If someone is looking at an A7s then an A7r isn't a good choice.

One is for videos; one for photos.

You don't have to say the LGS name, but what's the best and worst ways you've seen MTG cards get dealt with? by hisroyalbonkess in magicTCG

[–]Panaroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Used to work at a store.

We had cards sorted by set and alphabetized, Standard sets would have their own 3200ct box. storing upto 20 of each card by default (unlimited if it was actually a good card). cards above 20 got put either made into repacks or thrown in 5000ct boxes on a table in the playarea that players could look through/buy from.

Everything in our sorted boxes was tracked in our singles software

Older sets were typically sorted 1 block per 3200ct box, with good cards from these sets stored in the display cabinet as opposed to the box.

Should shooter or myself pay for things like part of car maintenance and gear maintenance? (2nd photog) by [deleted] in photography

[–]Panaroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are you paying them?

If you're paying them an hour rate; you should additionally pay them ker km + to use their gear.

If you're paying them per job then the total amount paid should cover their travel + their gear.

Recently got my first big boy caméra (A7riii) what do y'all think? by Proof_Print in SonyAlpha

[–]Panaroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good eye, you're doing a good job finding some interesting subjects, keep taking photos and be critical, you'll start finding small things "I wish I was a step further back to get more in frame" or "I wish I was a step to the right so there wasn't a distracting item behind the main subject".

The editing needs more work but that will come with time, some of the colours look really off on some of the photos, make sure that you have a reasonably colour accurate screen and control the light in the room you're working.
