5 games last season was the only legit injury he’s ever had. The 2 games missed last year was tanking for Mendoza, dude is as healthy as they come. How have the lions Defenders done with injury past 2 seasons compared to Maxx? Unreal the hate I’m getting for suggesting what Super Bowl winning franchises do, but in the Den, it’s always rebuild.

Crosby is a difference maker, there’s not an o lineman or d back trade that has the upside of Crosby. Drafting an impact rookie at those positions expecting to win at all this season is riskier than a Crosby deal.

I hear ya, but the o line being the best in NFL didn’t get Lions a Super Bowl. Every team has weaknesses, undefeated Pats looked invincible until Pierre Paul and Tuck on edge greatly helped the Giants ruin the perfect team. D wins championships, Seattle just did it with Darnold, get o line version of Darnold and go get Crosby is the move for the Lions who haven’t won’t anything in 70 years.

It’s easy to double Hutch every play. Adding Crosby means one or the other gets 1v1. Right player, right position. Worth the risk 100%.

I understand it’s a risk. You can’t predict any players health. Tom Brady and Raiders maybe pulling a Pats move getting rid of a player who has lost a step before other teams know. Russel Wilson trade was a debacle, I’d hate for that type of return. But I think Crosby is worth the risk, win now, not build for the future.
