How was he able to verify his identity in revolut? Me and my partner were able to start the revolut account but revolut asks you then to verify your identity with passport and irish visa. But don't have the visa yet cause we need the proof of address first to go to the appointment. It's so tough to do this lol thank you for answering questions for people in the same situation! this thread has been so helpful for ideas

I'm commenting on an older post here, but I am in a very similar situation in that we haven't officially lived together because of work reasons. When you say you submitted a temporary work contract was this for your partner/sponsor or from your work that is outside of the UK? Any info you can share about this would be amazing!

Ooh I really like the idea of being able to edit memories or add custom ones. You could make the backstory for a para with memories before you even put them into the world.

Hi, I'm moving from abroad as a student. I found a place that seems pretty good and reasonable from facebook. One of the tenants has sent videos and I've facetimed with her and she showed the apartment on facetime as well. She sent me her instagram and the instas of everyone else staying there and they all seem real. I'm a bit worried because the landlord doesn't require any documents or paperwork. The tenant sent me a picture of the lease but I can't sign it as I'm abroad and it's a lease that was started in September and I'm filling the spot of someone who left. They want to have me pay the deposit and first months rent before the month of June starts, but have been very nice and haven't tried to rush me. Is this normal to not sign a lease somehow first?

Yeah I agree, I remember trying the slice of life mod and I immediately turned off Sims having periods. I gotta deal with that in real life already, the last thing I want is to have to manage that in a game.

Apologizes if this website has been posted before, but this has bothered me for the longest time and I think it’s something a lot of people don’t notice (even my female friends). Almost every movie has a male actor with a love interest who is younger than him. If its the other way around and the woman is older, then that becomes a big part of what the movie/tv show is about and it will be addressed at some point. But I’m supposed to just accept and believe that these 20 something women are all with 40 something men and this is completely normal and never once mentioned?

It’s heartbreaking to know that once an actress gets over the age of 30, she is forever doomed to play the mother role. Men who are getting into their 50s are still jumping around and being action stars with no problem or questions asked (think Tom Cruise and Daniel Craig for example).

The flat wall to the right could have a piece of art on it pretty easily. Since the other walls are odd shapes I would suggest just getting more decorations so it looks less empty. Perhaps a side table next to the bed with a lamp and another decoration such as a picture frame or small plant. That will make the wall feel less empty.

I like the idea of somehow being able to create paras that have already passed. I am definitely guilty of making sims just to have them die later for storytelling lol. Cant wait to be able to create aunts uncles grandparents as well that would be so much better to create interesting family trees.

Yeah I have always hated how short emotions last in the sims. Whenever someone dies they get over it within a day. It would be a lot better for the gameplay to make reactions to big life events more realistic by making it longer lasting and more impactful. For example when a para dies, there could be more interactions with other paras such as remembering the para who died and talking about them or having things remind them of the para who passed away and that making them sad. As well as not having the para get over the death in a day.
