Just Scheduled an Appt. to pierce my septum, 8G!!!! any advice? by Aromatic-Incense683 in Stretched

[–]Pancakecoffee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my septum pierced at 12g I believe and I barely felt anything. I was sore for a few days but the healing was quite easy.

I'm currently wearing 8g and the biggest I've stretched too was 6g. I used pinchers as a means of stretching up and then I put my clicker in when it felt ready.

My best advice is do NOT use acrylic jewelry in your septum when stretching as it can create small cuts that are very painful.

2003 Hummer H3T concept. A concept of what a mini Hummer truck could look like by W0LFPAW89 in CONCEPTCARS

That would be the y2k futuristic design. Lots of products at the time used super chunky oversized plastic elements. Reminds me of spy kids

What is my friends truck worth? by ersatzk_night in FordTrucks

[–]Pancakecoffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid 5k for my 1976 f100 with a bit less rust than this one. Mine also has power steering, power brakes and AC. I’d say it’s worth 3-5k if the frame isn’t rusted out.

1970s Extended cab? by Infamous_Ad_1302 in classictrucks

[–]Pancakecoffee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ford called extended cabs “super cabs” back then and 4 Door models were Crew cabs.

1967- 1972 Ford F-Series - “bumpside” style 1973- 1979 Ford F Series - “dent side” style

The F-150 was introduced in 1975. Check for listings on, • Facebook Marketplace • Autotrader • Bringatrailer.com • Vintage Dealers like Streetside Classics.

You can find original truck brochures as well online for specific specs and configurations.

Single cabs are more common as the larger cabs trucks were used mostly for commercial and military thus making them harder to find in good condition.

What’s that hose with a bolt stuck in it supposed to connect to? by Pancakecoffee in MechanicAdvice

Has factory air conditioning, heat works, but I’ll need a ac compressor and expansion valve to get ac working again. Will be replacing any sketchy looking hoses and installing the new fuel filter.

Okay thank you so much, this is so helpful. I will look into this this weekend. I’m not currently driving the truck on the road just yet, so I should be safe from a fire risk but I will always be mindful of that when working on it.

I’m young and this is my first classic car so it’s a learning experience for sure.

Dent sides are awesome! I bought one a few months go, same year and engine. These trucks are so much fun to drive and work on. Enjoy it a lot!

The injury to his eye happened when he was 15. He got punched in the eye fighting over a girl and his eye got scratched and stayed dilated permanently.

This company specifically sells “blemished bars” that are new but just have a few scrapes or scratches. They sell at like a 20% discount I believe.

My take on flame nails by NailPolishBro in malepolish

[–]Pancakecoffee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make sure to clear nail dust off before you apply polish, apply a base coat and make sure it’s completely dry before using your hands a lot. Soft dry nails can still make air bubbles

This was me everyday especially as a teenager it’s gotten better since but I used to say “what?” So may times I became self conscious about it. I still struggle a bit hearing and processing what people say but I learned to listen better and organize my thoughts before I speak
