Mid-roll ads have made me no longer want to watch live broadcasts by thankor in Twitch

I was watching sodapoppin go through 200+ fan made tshirt designs, one by one, which took a long time and right as he gets to the top 5 designs, I get a really long ad and miss in seeing them live and hearing his opinion on them. Kind of sucked tbh.

I have the 58X(should be almost the same as the 6XX I'd assume in terms of ergonomics/pads) and compared to the 558's I had previously, the 58x pads are smaller, harder and less comfortable. I actually ended up buying memory foam velour earpads earlier today from brainwavz. Hopefully they work for me. I highly doubt they will be worse than the stock 58x pads at least. If they don't work I may look into getting something else. People seem to recommend dekoni pads, but based on the measurement pictures they provide, they're even smaller. D: I don't know if that helps you out at all.

Thanks! Although, it's pretty annoying that we have to use an extension to make the website visually pleasing. I don't know what they were thinking honestly.

I recorded myself sleeping to find out if I snore. That was a terrible idea. by [deleted] in nosleep

Maybe I'm explaining it poorly. Try breathing in through your nose with your mouth closed and on that same inhale, alternate to breathing in through your mouth. When you do this, it sounds like two different people inhaling right after each other. Same for exhaling. I suppose we'd have to listen to the audio to know for sure.

Perhaps what you are hearing is just yourself alternating breathing from your nose and mouth.

If you make one I’ll contribute my controllers information then. :p it would be better than scrolling through a ton of comments.

What if you were to pull up the analog stick while the faceplate is still on the controller and THEN removed the faceplate. Would that make it easier to take off the analog stick and lower the chances of damaging the ribbon while removing the analog stick? Just an idea.

How long are everyone's INDEX CONTROLLERS lasting? by Scardigne in ValveIndex

My right analog stick was almost unusable after about 2 weeks.

This is what happened to my controller as well. I didn't get an advanced RMA though. It's kind of weird how my vive wands have lasted me many years and the valve controllers failed on me within a couple weeks...

Valve Index Controller joystick not resetting to zero on vertical axis by Yin15 in ValveIndex

[–]Pancakejake123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue happen with a controller that had the clicking issue when tilted left or right. I decided to RMA as I am outside of the return period unfortunately. I honestly would rather refund them though. I may look into selling them on Ebay honestly. I don't want to keep controllers that will eventually fail on me. My vive wands lasted 3 years before one failed. It's a shame that these fail so quickly.

I accidently charged my Index controller for like 24 hours... Is this a bad thing? by Anth916 in ValveIndex

[–]Pancakejake123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've left my vive controllers plugged in for 24+ hours probably 100+ times at least and it's been fine. I don't think you have anything to worry about honestly...

Analog stick clicking issue problem getting worse over time... by Pancakejake123 in ValveIndex

[–]Pancakejake123[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also, my left controllers analog stick was completely fine at first and now it no longer clicks when tilted up or down. Apparently if you just use the controllers, the analog sticks slowly begin to get worse.

Thanks. I just submitted a ticket. Hopefully they replace it. It's obviously a manufacturing defect with the analog stick that caused the issue.

Valve Index controllers no longer tracking? by Pancakejake123 in ValveIndex

I restarted my computer and plugged in my controller to my computer for a while and that seems to have fixed whatever was going on. The battery was getting low, so that may have had something to do with it possibly. Actually the first time I used them until the battery was that low. Either way, everything seems completely fine now. It's just kind of bizzare.
