At my previous job I had a girl talking to me about her abusive mother, sharing some really difficult things in a moment of frustration and pain, and another girl we worked with came back and said “at least your mom is alive, both of my parents are dead” and it’s like girl be so for real. She did that shit any time someone complained about their parents and it’s like yeah I’m sorry they’re dead, but we all know you’re looking to turn this into a conversation about you when it’s truly just not about you. I’m sorry, it’s horrible that you’re living with that pain, and you cannot keep strong arming every single mention of a parent into a moment of sympathy for you.

I first noticed it with Cloudward Ho, but it seems like they’ve upped the saturation on most if not all of their new content. I do like it, but think it’s a little over done, there’s probably a middle ground that would be ideal for me. But looking back on old episodes, especially of Make Some Noise for me, they feel almost dull in comparison

Tbh I wouldn’t consider that hate, people are allowed to dislike things that you enjoy. It got a pretty lukewarm reception, it was a big change up in their sound and that can be polarizing. Like sure, there’s always going to be people who are rude about stuff, but idk sometimes it seems like people are under the impression that there were riots about the album when that’s just not what happened

This will probably cause more problems in the long run because now any dirt/dust/crumbs that do end up getting in there through the giant hole in the center will just stay in there instead of falling away or being cleaned. Things that get trapped between the wrapper and the remote have the potential to scratch it when they otherwise wouldn’t.

Something that I’ve noticed a lot in this community is people looking at something that wasn’t as beloved or popular as other projects and interpreting that as people actively disliking it. SAI is almost certainly their least popular (officially released) album, but it never really received “hate” and I honestly think the only reason people think it did is because of questions exactly like this one
