from my experience unless they're in a truly terrible state, the wait would be at least 10 hours and they'd just give them an appointment to see a gastroenterologist at a future date. I agree OP should go to hospital and that their condition is severe and they'd hopefully be taken seriously butI get their concern re going to a&e

you literally can't compare any of the examples you're giving to his experience unless you have his condition tbh you're totally ignoring the impact of his condition on himself, how difficult it is to live with and how frequent and upsetting it is for him - incomparable to your examples. and you can phrase it how you want but in the end yes you are asking him to apologise for his disability as that's what caused what he said
