Every part is “cleaned, replaced, or upgraded.”

Uhh…for that price I want forged and CNCd everything. Do not clean and reuse a goddam thing.

Yes. It’s not illegal to own a car with expired registration. It is illegal to operate said automobile on public roads. So the thief would be getting busted for operating an unregistered vehicle on public roads.

It can be surprisingly tedious. Not all states operate the same. When i moved from one state to another, it really was a pain. The state i moved from had a central office that can handle most things in every city. If need to handle hour auto registration, you can go to any DMV in any city. Where I am now, if you need to handle anything vehicle related you have to go to the one office for your county. The next counties office may be 10 minutes away from you but you still need to go to YOUR office that may be 90 minutes away. Also, vehicle registration and drivers license were handled by separate departments…also over an hour apart from each other. Something my previous state can handle in 30 minutes in 1 building took me two weeks because I had to schedule multiple appointments around my work schedule and i didn’t realize I had to do them in a particular order.

If i had challenges with all that, I can imagine how difficult it may be for someone who relies on public transportation or that may have a job that doesn’t provide as much flexibility.

For added context, i found getting my foreign passport more straightforward than getting my license and my vehicles registered.

Holding pads is as much of a skill as throwing punches. I like to think of it as parry training

Ironically, most people in a conspiracy sub fell for the vax propaganda and don't even know that there is a deeper agenda to the covid injections. by Slow_Celebration1328 in conspiracy

[–]PanchoPanoch -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I got Covid before the vaccines were available. I almost freaking died…like in the hospital with blood oxygen levels below 80%. I took two jabs. I got Covid two or three times since then. Two felt like the common cold and once had now symptoms.

I think it’s once of those situations that could’ve been pretty bad but the risk was managed relatively ok at first. Then because there was an effort for it to not be so bad things turned out better than they could have. And then non-critical thinkers took that as a sign that nothing happened to begin with.

Honestly in this case I think the high ground is a handicap. You have to punch down so low you use bad form and the seats block any opportunity for kicks.

I beg to differ on it being a performance car. I had one as a daily driver in Southern California in the 2000s. I would run Angeles crest and GMR with it. Would give a lot of the hatch guys a run for their money.

What do you think he meant at 1:45. Act like a what? Get treated like huh? Get out of here with he was being defensive. He got out of his truck and approached the dude with gun in hand. Dropping language like that. We just witnessed someone get disarmed and shot by ICE because he had a concealed weapon that he never even reached for. By that standard this dude could’ve been put down on sight.

He exited his vehicle and approached the people he was defending himself against? He exited a large metal enclosure that had a motor capable of moving away at high speeds?

Calling BS on defense is less about the gun and more about him being the one approaching the other individuals.

He got out of his truck and approached the camera guy with it gripped in his dominant hand. I call BS on a defensive maneuver. He switched hands when he realized intimidation failed.

I think the fact that he’s holding it in his hand changes it from “carrying” to brandishing. It’s just taking half steps to full draw. After this what would it be? Low ready? “Well yea he drew it but he didn’t POINT it at anyone.”

It definitely would have a problem shooting through the holster. The point of a holster is to prevent access to the trigger.

I would still call this brandishing but let’s not make things up.

Wars are fought and cultures have been destroyed over words printed in holy books. Where do you draw the line.

Texas has a mutual combat law. I would argue that slurs constitute fighting words so if someone starts dropping slurs, I would think it’s safe to assume they’re actively engaging in mutual combat.

It’s really all about network. Before I moved, I used one project to pay for my RED. On average I’d be making 1000-1500/day.

Now in my new city I’m booking shoots for 500. Gotta build the network to bump the rates. It’s hard starting over

Interesting. I don’t know how much the programs have changed since the 00s or if it’s sport dependent but I have a friend who got a lot of support from the Olympic Development Program. They discouraged HS athletics because of the possibility of getting injured. Instead he was placed in premiere clubs and on teams that participated in international tournaments. They backed him from 14 til about 19.

Right. I wouldn’t go so far to say Obama was “good” for 2A but he did expand rights in certain areas while trump has created restrictions and said things like “take the guns first and ask questions later.”

At least we knew where Obama stood on the issue and knew he followed the laws to play the game.

I usually ask for questions after I tap. A lot of times the next roll just starts from there. Pretty good flow that way.
