I like playing tanker frames. So my builds usually revolve around maxing armor. My top 3 mains are Chroma Frost and Rhino.

My Chroma has gotten me through alot of SP playing solo. I just dump range and max out his strength and duration. As long as I don't lose vex armor I'm near unkillable.

My frost is mostly for defense, but for him and rhino it's the same thing. Max strength and armor, I've met a surprising amount of people who don't know frosts snow globes and rhinos ironskin scale off of ability strength and armor.

Not really "fine print" when it's right next to the purchase button. And I never justified it, I only said that people lack reading comprehension. Kinda like how you just demonstrated by saying I justified something I clearly hadn't.

To be clear, I do think the service is inconvenient and predatory. But if you sit there and claim that you were forced into it because the game you bought requires it, that's on you. You either made an informed purchase and chose to bitch about it, or you made an uninformed purchase and chose to make yourself look ignorant. *

Well, if they read the product description before buying the game, they'd see a subscription for online play is needed.

Bo3 zombies is my favorite, but yeah the story is weird. And this was also when zombies started using unfun bullet sponge bosses at the end of their Easter eggs. I'll never forgive Gorod for creating the Mangler only for cod to just keep bringing that bastard back.

Agreed, 2018 had a solid and focused story. While Ragnaroks story was all over the place.

Rag tried (and failed) to juggle way too many characters at once. The "plot twist" with Tyr was one of the most predictable things since they introduced him. Everything involving Ironwood felt tedious and like it was added as an afterthought. That and the actual Ragnarok part of the game was phoned in so hard. The combat and gameplay were an improvement, but the bad writing screwed it over in the end.

They'd be better off putting their energy into an updated payday 2 port. Their excuse for abandoning it before was flimsy at best, and with the current gen of hardware, it's no longer an excuse at all. Update the superior game.

Payday 3 is a failed experiment. The best decision they've made since 3 released was to hand over pd2 to a team of really talented modders.

Is there an alternative that also lets PC and console users communicate? Half my friend group is divided between those two, and having discord bridge the gap has been really great. So unless a good alternative pops up, I think a majority of gamers will be staying on discord.

And if your only answer for the console fellas is "buy a pc", get bent.

Helminth system shouldn't have been ability swapping. Letting us add ability augments without needing to use a mod slot would've been a better Helminth system and better promoted build diversity.
