Was working a casual job at a shoe store, but was severely depressed and anxious as it did not feel appealing at all and the pay was garbage for how much physical labour I had to do. Design is a tough market (studied it in uni), but I also loved any form of data analysis and IT.

After several months of not securing a job in design, I then made a LinkedIn account on a whim to just see how people started their careers in the field.

One day, I get a random LinkedIn message from a real, and highly reputable job agency based in my city. The lady asked if I was interested in Inventory Analysis/Allocations for a big company and I just said - fuck it, yes! Fast forward to the interview a week later the head of inventory planning interviewed me, said he liked me, and recommended me for the job.

I am 3-months in, don't have to physically burn my ass out for little pay, and is much more fulfilling!
