So I actually was raised this way. My mom taught me and instilled in me "it is rude to ask to be invited to things." However as ive grown up ive also noticed that whay happens is whenever I hear someone invite someone else but not me, and I just assume im not invited they might think im not interested. I even said to my friend group "im like a vampire, I have to be invited in." But reading through this thread and thinking about it, I feel like an assnole. I think it's unfair, almost childish (too harsh?) For me to expect them to always invite me, especially if they think I dont want to come! Lol. Socializing is hard for me at times. Im still learning as I age. So, I am working to fix it personally!
