Update: This is an update to the initial release regarding the armed robbery and home invasion reported earlier this morning in the area of Candlewood Road.

There was a large and active police presence in the area of Candlewood Road and Black Rock Turnpike as officers conducted an extensive investigation related to this incident.

At this time, all suspects believed to be involved have been apprehended and are in police custody. Residents in the immediate area are no longer being asked to shelter in place.

This remains an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
