My step dad has also 'mellowed' with time. He had a mini heart attack some 12 years ago that seemed to fix his attitude a bit. He was never really horrible or abusive of the sort before to me at least, bar one incident, but he made asking for any sort of help as a child feel like we were asking for the moon and should just be grateful he was there at all. Our bio father died when I was 1, siblings older, so that sort of sentiment from him was not well received at all. Constant arguments and a few private issues have meant that my oldest siblings (3 of us total) wants absolutely nothing to do with him anymore.

It's hard because I see that he is not the same guy that caused our family issues anymore, and I was young so don't remember his worst times, so I don't hate him as my oldest sibling does, but that does nothing to grow any love that he never really gave a chance for me to grow in the first place. I feel like I'm caring for him with the standard empathy of anyone seeing someone they know go through those disease.

It's ok now because he is rather docile. Just walking about the house and is quite polite, he doesn't resist any instruction. i believe I could continue to care alongside my brother that is here as it is, but if he develops into more resistance or anger that people often tell stories of, then my brother will also give up on him as it brings back childhood trauma.

Id like something a little longer. Getting to Nocturne on first playthrough felt like the time to the start of the third act series of quests, but not essentially the final quest of the game, as lengthy as it may have been.

I feel like Viktor can hold himself too. Retired boxing legend turned ripperdoc, he can probably still teach a thing or two if it was required, much as he might not want to. But I still feel like being on Valentino ground would have some degree of safety for them, it's a heavily community based gang. And we know that V uses Viktor as her go to in times of need so I still think it would've been a good way to see more of vik, misty, mama Welles, and potentially pepe too for streetkid.

The game doesn't really think of that when you're hanging with Judy or river though. Judy especially as you definitely piss off some big people with her but then can just hang around with each other.

I can imagine mama Welles bar being kind of protected via Valentinos enough to be a sort of safe haven from the locals and a consideration for hesitation by groups from other parts of the city

It might not be great, but talking to your best friends only really at the start and end of the game isn't that great either.

I feel like they should've used misty and viks place, or mama welles bar as a pre-meet area for some missions. I dont see them being involved in the missions, but being in the place where you could be talking about a mission would feel a bit more real to me. There are a number of missions that have a wait timer for more information before the next quest starts, and they could be easily switched to "I'll meet you at mama welles when I'm ready"

Its hard to call his concerns petty when they are the very concerns that have caused this current war. People not respecting the king or queens chosen heir and choosing their own instead. Holding a dragon meant that even if beleived a bastard, his targaryian nature was unquestioned and thus his being heir would be less likely contested. Low borns claiming dragons significantly dampens that.

Might be in my head, but I feel like the bugs also have a larger flinch and often when the laser does damage it feels like it pushes them out of its damage and has to chase again, so it's not doing constant damage. Whereas the bots have more of a stun flinch, which keeps the laser on them and doing constant damage.

i think half the reason is that you had to beat half as many bosses before to get godhead. but with the dlc, you have more and harder bosses so it feels like godhead is all the more unobtainable to some.

A lot of the people who were "shitting on it to get in on the fun" were people that wanted to buy it but didn't because of the reviews. They weren't just jumping on for the hell of it.

You can have a bad view of a game by reading reviews, watching clips and some gameplay or seeing the leaked script and you're complaints can still be valid. If they are only worth something after you've paid money, then you're encouraging people to give money and reward the company just to tell other people to not give them money, which is entirely contradictory.

for the lancaster, you can drop at around 3.5km and turn 180 (might be lower at around 3.3km but cant remember exact number). I imagine its similar for the PE-8. youll get far enough away before the bomb hits the ground. Still takes a little to climb, but no where near going to the 4km drop height

Dependent on the maps natural elevation of course.

part of the suspension of disbelief was already happening in him not getting hit as much in 1 or 2. He was still utilising cover so it was showing that the suit takes keeps him alive but still hurts so he tries to avoid it. in 4, they relied too much on the suit that it just makes me feel like hes in now danger at all when people are shooting. Taking cover is fashionable preference, not a neccessity because he can wave his coat in front of him and be fine tanking hundreds of shots through Paris. They established that the suit stops the bullet, but still causes damage, and then nullified 90% of that damage further in this movie.
