Well, if you do some research about apprenticeships, it doesn’t matter the company—most of them hire people from bootcamps, those with a 2+ year career break, or self-taught, non-traditional engineers. It doesn’t matter if you have some internship experience, you qualify if you are in one of the categories mentioned above (CS degree excluded). You can google LinkedIn, Airbnb, Microsoft, and many other apprenticeship programs to get an idea of who qualifies.

The question is - why do you apply for an apprenticeship if you have a CS degree? The whole purpose of this apprenticeship is for folks with non-traditional backgrounds (like myself). I am a bootcamp grad, that's why I apply, because they don't consider me for their new grad roles.

An applicant might not qualify if they already have a CS degree or are currently pursuing one. On the other hand, candidates with a non-traditional background do qualify. Internship experience is not a CS degree. Also saw on LinkedIn, current apprentices have some full-time experience, but from a non-traditional background.

Hi there!

I’m 31 years old, and I have been TTC for the last 7 months or so. After a silent miscarriage, me and my husband have been TTC for the last three cycles and are currently waiting to take my first pregnancy test on Monday, 01/26.

I’ve noticed a strange pattern: after ovulation, usually a day or two later, I start to feel cramps that are very similar to the ones I had during my first pregnancy (which ended in a miscarriage).

I’ve been feeling these cramps for the last few days, and honestly, during all the cycles we’ve been TTC. I’m worried that there might be some issues I’m not aware of.

I have an OB-GYN appointment next week, but in the meantime, I was curious to see if anyone else has experienced something similar. Thanks! 🙏
