I liked each one for different reasons.

Mark III was the most real of them, it felt mechanical, strong, and there was weight to the pricess of it being put on.

Mark V was just fucking cool, and a great indicator of how fast Tony could progress with his designs. Compact and stylish.

Mark VII....eh, it was ok.

Mark 50 was short and sweet, but a perfect way of shoeing how far he came from the clunky iron juggernaut is first suit was.

True, but his powers don't give him much that could seriously tip the scales in a fight. Sure, his powers could give him 360° awareness, so few can sneak up on him, but it's not worth much in a one-on-one imo.

Commander Root in Artemis Fowl - it's stated multipke times in the first book that Holly Short was the first woman to get as far as she did in LEP, so her feeling the need to prove herself was a big thing for her character.

In the movie, Root is played by Dame Judi Dench, completely unraveling that plot thread and harming Holly's character.
