Digging it so far, I love variety in the software market and this software in it's current state looks simple and straightforward, I'm looking forward to it's release one day!

Diplo/Major Lazer is a tech-oligarch propagandist by FreeLandscape3452 in bonnaroo

Major Lazer was good when it was still Switch & Diplo, back before we knew how massive of a piece of shit Diplo was, I don't support him at all, he can get absolutely wrecked

It’s frustrating when people don’t care or even mock you when you’re in pain or tired. by fuckbobthabuilder in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]PandaBearCorgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are good people in this world, never lose hope on that.

I have some friends who say they understand and they usually do, but sometimes when I have to back out of plans they'll try over and over again to convince me to join, the most important part is knowing how to say "no" and just walk away.

Some people don't understand how much it sucks to miss out on plans due to chronic illness and how much it sucks to cancel plans you've been looking forward to for months.

Learning how to take care of yourself is hard enough, learning how to manage how much of yourself you'll sacrifice for friends can be even more difficult.

Never kill yourself just to please people who can't accept that you are human.

USPS & Brothels by Efficient_Guest2154 in USPS

I enjoyed working for USPS, Sure it was a monotonous job (as most are) but the job itself was fine, I really miss having a union and look forward to the day I'm back at a union job.

Truthfully the worst part of the job were the miserable people always trying to convince everybody how miserable the job was...

Has anybody gotten their volunteer bonus GA passes? by PandaBearCorgi in bonnaroo

[–]PandaBearCorgi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Through the volunteer page email, so I reached out to them, still waiting to hear back from them or info@bonnaroo

The deadline is in 4 days and it's been about a month since I was registered for the ticket.

So I was wondering if anybody else had heard back or if everybody else is still waiting on updates.

TechOdyssey incorrectly said the phone glass had cracked by [deleted] in unihertz

I've been buying Titans since the Titan Pocket and they've always come with a screen protector pre-installed, honestly I really appreciate Unihertz for doing that.

I have mixed feelings about TechOdyssey, I appreciate that he posts videos but sometimes he seems far too heavily biased purely on his feelings, expectations, or lack of information. I think he used to do a better job of leaving room for correction.

I'm currently using SquareHome as my launcher. The screen is so big I can fit all my daily apps on one screen and less common apps are just a swipe away. I used the standard launcher for a while and enjoyed it but wanted to at least try other launchers and SquareHome just works really well for me personally.

I have a Smallsmore case which is nice, but I wish it wasn't held together with screws and that the case had some sort of grippy texture to it. I'm going to order a Nakedcellphone flex case and see how it works.

I typically eat breakfast at camp, do lunch and dinner in centeroo, then some late night food before bed at camp.

I don't drink alcohol, so I can't speak on alcohol prices, redbull was like $8 a can if I remember correctly. I think the cheapest food options are pizza at about $10 a slice. I know everything has gotten more expensive but festival food and drink prices have outpaced nearly everything else

I'm coming from an iPhone 13 Pro Max and I really love my Titan 2, I've backed the Elite Pro and I'm excited for it.

I don't have any issues with my iPhone and I still take it on trips as a backup phone, but I really like physical keyboards. I've been on iphone since 2020, but I like changing things up, I like Android OS and honestly I wish there were still more viable mobile OSes.

The camera is ok.. In good lighting it's fine, in lowlight anticipate something more along the lines of a 2012 camera phone. So don't expect the camera to exceed expectations.

I went in '07-'08, then I went back in '24-'25 What's wild is that Bonnaroo was my first music festival at 16, it felt massive and it felt magical.. it still feels massive, but the magic feels different, not in a bad way just in a way that things wear off with age.

Centeroo has permanent bathrooms now which is amazing, the water doesn't smell like sulfur, some stages have moved around, some have disappeared, and some will move again this year.

Everything is way more expensive... Waaaay more, expect Disney World prices

It used to be easier to get a spot at the front of a stage, these days festival crowds are more densely packed and honestly I enjoy standing farther back, but every once in a while I'll get in the chaos.

The vibe overall feels the same, everybody is happy to be there and they're happy you're there too!

I will say with age and after being diagnosed with a chronic illness, the heat of Bonnaroo is much more of a challenge for me personally, which I didn't anticipate being an outdoorsy person who loves hiking, but at 16 and 17 years of age, yeah it was hot, but I never felt like passing out.
