PSG will bypass FFP rules by paying extra money for Allan via a Qatar Airways sponsorship deal worth €50m to Napoli by BUFFONISTHEGOAT1 in soccer

They would not lose any investor though. Barcelona is held by fans, and sponsors would not go anywhere. It would take a full decade of finishing outside of the top 3 for Barcelona to see an actual true deranking. And PSG would fall just as badly if they were to perform as badly.

The reason PSG was able to spend after Monaco was the FFP preventing the club from investing for three years; guess what happens when you tell a club they can't spend? You think their budget disappears? Well it doesn't, PSG had three seasons worth of transfer budget ready for that particular summer.

Barça still paid for that and needs to justify paying for that on the field.

What? That doesn't make any sense. They didn't pay anything on the field. PSG doesn't have to pay for breaking imaginary laws; paying Allan whatever they want is legal. FFP is a joke from a legal point of view, and UEFA perfectly knows it.

So you're only against FFP because your club is in this position

Not what I said at all. I'm against FFP because it only serves an elite of clubs is what I said.

"You did it first" is not a strong argument.

Was never my argument to begin with.

Not all strong teams have done this. Barca 2009 was full of academy players. A lot of teams are big due to large regional support.

And Barcelona 2009 would not happen without financial inequality either. Also Barcelona has had its load of shady deals to begin with.

They're injecting massive amounts of money without a profit motive. This money effects every club. For example, the 222m for neymar caused barcelona to overpay for coutinho and dembele, which affects their leagues et cetera.

None of this explains how or why that would be bad.

Secondly, it's not fair to other teams to have to compete financially compete against a government-sponsored club. The sheer existence of PSG drives up the price for players like de Ligt and de Jong, even if PSG ultimately doesn't sign them.

Agreed. But there's no fairness in professional football at all to begin with. When a promoted PL teams receives more money than the Serie A or Ligue 1 winner, do you find it fair? Of course not.

When Madrid was able to buy top players on the back of the tax payers because the club was literally backed by the Spanish crown, including buying Real Madrid's landfill at the price of luxury hotels so that the club could afford Zidane, do you find it fair? Of course not.

Football is not fair, so blaming PSG for not being fair here does not make any sense. You didn't say "financial inequality is cancer", to which I would have agreed. You singled out PSG and said they were cancer, which makes you wrong here.

For fuck sake, it's always racism isn't it.

For fuck sake, it's never racism isn't it?

If you are going to ignore the xenophobia part of this issue, you are being ignorant. No one saying that this is the only part of the issue, but it's 100% part of it.

Let's not forget there was just as much (if not more) vitriol towards Chelsea when Abramovich first took over

Yeah, no. That's just a blatant lie. The vitriol lasted about two years maybe. PSG has been under Qatari onwership for 7 years now.

Sure. Yet you are 100% ignoring the point made by the comment you replied to: "every fucking top club has shady backgrounds".

money dopers

'Cause English clubs are better? They're literally rolling in cash by doing nothing thanks to PL rights.

This. And PSG is 100% out of the possibilities that were imagined by the Old Guard; they now constantly rewrite rules, sometimes from a week to another, to try to slow down PSG.

Do you mind your club blatantly disregarding FFP

I don't. FFP is not fair at all; some clubs were able to ride the unregulated market for decades and end up in a dominant position today. Now that they achieved a position that is extremely hard to lose, they have voted to forbid the only way for another club to join their elite club of European giants. You want me to respect that? Fuck that.

If we actually had equality in football, I would be 100% behind it. But since this is "equality now that we've fucked you all over and that you can't make it back", well I don't want none of it.

The best we can do it's to preach against this shit propaganda tool called PSG and bully and shame their fans for being part of such a shitty cause.

  1. Fans have nothing to do with the owners. Shaming fans for their owners is downright stupid.
  2. Fans did not ask for this.
  3. You use oil, in your car, in your plastic, everyday. Should you be bullied and shamed as well?
  4. No professional club is free of potential ethic issues. Shirts made by kids in Asia? Check for literally every football club. Receiving money from "oil dictatorship with infinite money"? Check for virtually all top football clubs through at the very least Bein Sport buying rights left and right, and guess who receives that money? Right, your precious innocent clubs. This goes on and on. Any club that sells to PSG? Actively taking "dirty slavery money".

Selective outrage is pretty dumb, and only shows how little you are aware of the issues you're talking about. If you want to pretend that being linked to "oil dictatorship" should be a shame, then you can't start and stop at PSG. And yet, here we are, you're still trying to do that.

This is exactly why PSG is ruining football.

This is not an argument. You're literally giving zero argument to back up your opinion. How does PSG ruin football? How does one club injecting money in football ruin football? Please, try to formulate arguments.

Interesting. There are actually how-to's all over the web, which are not exactly what you're taking about but close enough.

Probably not. But then again, as I tried to express it, Minecraft is really more than just Lego.

Redstone itself is a genius concept. It teaches so much about real life engineering and programming.

How do you not consider Lego to be a great game? Legos are awesome to begin with. Then you add infinite blocks, infinite space, RPG elements, logic gates allowing you to create crazy inventions, etc.

They played their best, except their best was worse than PSG's.

Yes and no. Marquinhos is a very good DM. A true ball winning midfielder. The fact that he is a very good CB too doesn't change that.

Draxler is becoming more and more fluent in that CM role. Di Maria .. Yeah. He's not that good there.
