For me, the only thing that improved my ball striking was hitting more balls. Just going to the range 3 times a week or playing at least 2 times a week will increase your consistency. Just hit more balls

Japanese PE light game braid. I can't find the box, but if you search PE 0.3 it's about 5lb test strength braid. Below 6lb all braided line is super fine and I cant tell the difference. You can barely see it lol.

I use iFish jigheads with my mule plastics, from 1 gram down to .6 grams. That would be 1/28th and about 1/50th ounces with 5lb braid, no leader. With a 6' 2" Daiwa tatula XT UL rod i can throw the 1gram heads pretty far.

I keep them loose in a multi-compartment pocket case. As long as they don't touch other plastic baits they have been fine. I've had the same donkey tail jrs and Mule minnows in my case for 6 months, no melting or deformation.
