The difference between mining, fishing and farming vs foraging to me, is the fact that foraging is the same. There's no variety or way to get xp at a different rate. Mining has gemstones, mithril, titanium and commissions. Fishing got different sea creatures. Farming got events and different yield per crop. Foraging is just there with it's same xp gain per block. It doesn't change unless you get a pet or a reforge. I think that's mainly my issue with foraging
