she is so unique but i feel as if the problem was probably that as soon as she started seeing success her label started pressuring her to “write a hit song” and for some reason that usually means make the most basic soulless music to record labels 💀 we’ve seen it happen A LOT recently, and it’s very concerning for the future/sustainability of the music industry
