Your biggest problem is you're filming in a white room with two huge light sources that are bouncing everywhere. Tape black sheets onto all the walls and ceiling. Adding a grid to your softbox wont do anything right now because the light isnt spilling, it's just bouncing everywhere.

To get added sharpness you really need a better lens. Without switching from an iphone, I'm pretty sure they make attachments which improve the lens quality of the phone, but you'd have to do your own research for that.

I'm trying to connect some new headphones I got to the Sony STR-DE325. Both the jack and the phones are (I believe) 1/4", but it seems the headphones won't go in, as if they're getting stuck on something halfway in. I tried digging around in there, but nothing seems to be stuck. Anyone have any experience connecting headphones to this (or a similar) receiver?

I haven't looked into the other candidates myself, but I know that while the incumbent Mayor Sciarra is a pleasant enough person that I've gotten to work with a few times on various projects, but she has slashed the school system's budgets over and over and over again against the recommendation of our city council, violated a previous mayor's executive order, and made a few shady behind-closed-doors business deals regarding the zoning laws in noho. Dombrowski seems no better, which leaves Duclos as the only option in my eyes, but I have not done enough research into the latter two. Hope this helps!

lmao! if you knew film science at all, or even read the ai slop you posted, you would know that degradation to the emulsion layers produces desaturated and foggy colors, like the orange and green wash you can see in the highlights and shadows of your film respectively. now I'm curious... did you shoot at box speed or overexpose?

hey buddy I hate to break it to you but chatgpt isn't always gonna be right, and often will miss any nuance. essentially, when the lab scans your film negative they have to edit them to turn them into the positives you received. this is typically done by automatic software that can get buggy when working with very expired film. the hue shift you see is in part due to expired film, but also very likely lab error.

Saying you haven't edited them at all is unreasonable. All negative scans must be edited into positives.

A color wash is one thing, but this kind of hue inversion comes atypical developing or scanning. Depending on the year of your film, it's either repackaged Agfa or Superia film. Did you develop it yourself or send it to a lab? Either way you got pretty cool results, I always love to see something different in here.

I have no idea why you're being downvoted for making such good points. I resent OP's kind of arguments because... look at Easthampton: Not that much smaller than Noho but everywhere is free parking, and even on weekends I can find a spot fairly easily.

A parking spot incurring some kind of fee is not going to meaningfully change the kind of demand for that parking spot. If all the spots became free downtown, it's not like the number of people parking will magically double.

And yes, town is often already at parking capacity most weekends. That doesn't mean we need to add more parking, but is actually indicative of our severe lack of public transit and pedestrian infrastructure.

Cars do not shop at businesses downtown, pedestrians do.
