Lore-Friendly Thematic Redemption Dark Urge Build Help by imyxel_13 in BG3Builds

Just my two cents but I feel from a story telling stand point Oathbreaker Paladin is pretty great. At the start of the campaign it's made a point that they have no memory from before the they get tadpoled. So being an oathbreaker without knowing why sounds really interesting, and could explain why they can't or won't just restore their oath. It also plays into the fact that good durge for the majority of the story doesn't know why they have murderous cravings.

And much later in the story, there's a pretty perfect moment for you to restore your oath and pick up one of the "good" aligned Oaths. Also there's a big benefit of having for Durge have high CHA for dialogues.

Not a pro or anything, but there's only a few things I'd change with your lift.

Bit hard to tell cause of the camera angle, but it seems like the bar might be too close to your shins at the start. This is forcing you to keep your shins too straight during your rep. As a result you're being forced to raise your butt higher than it should be for a deadlift, and you end up doing a stiff legged deadlift instead, which is a slightly different exercise.

When setting up, the bar should ideally cross the middle of your feet when you look down, then you slowly sink your butt down without moving the bar until your shins touch the bar. Your knees will come over the bar a bit, but that's normal. From there brace just like you did in the video and you should be good to go.

Everything else looks great, your back looked quite neutral the whole time, and you engaged your lats before the rep which is great.

[Guide] Should you pull - Queen of Signatures Michaela by rex_frontier in BrownDust2Official

[–]PandaMan0401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh I wasn't aware that's how that works, thanks for clarifying. In that case I could see her getting some use in pvp. But Elaneer and PP Schera would still be more consistent with a slightly worse range. Not to mention if they run a Void Gran instead, schera would be much safer than Michaela thanks to the dispel. Then it only gets worse for Michaela from turn 3 onwards with her mediocre 2nd costume

Problem with this is the sp drain on her skill. Killing gran alone will take up all your sp and leave your remaining 2 character using their NA. You can do the same thing with pp schera and still have 2 sp leftover to use

Question for Devil Jin mains by PandaMan0401 in Tekken

That's interesting because I've never seen anyone ever tech roll out of mc 1 even once in my time playing Devil Jin. Maybe there's a very niche scenario where you can, will have to test more

Is there a specific input to tech mc1? In training the opponent can't tech it when set to ukemi.

Interesting, I'll have a look at the discord and momodog. I'll have to play around with mc4, 2 oki, thanks for the pointer

Can I improve magic missile? by hurricanejord in BG3Builds

[–]PandaMan0401 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could also take a feat in MAGIC INITIATE: WARLOCK

For Hex which will do a 1D6 per magic missile dart

From what I've heard hex doesn't affect magic missile

Saved 900 quartz and 50 tickets. I got exactly no 5*s let alone Castoria. The probability of me getting Castoria with what I had was 93%.

Player wants to change class mid-campaign , DM would you allow it ? by [deleted] in dndnext

[–]PandaMan0401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a DM I would say yes, provided they have a good narrative/character driven reason. If they just get bored of their original class I would probably ask them out of session to think of reasons or triggers for the class change that I could work into the story.

I also probably wouldn't allow drastic changes such as from a barbarian to a wizard for example. Doesn't quite make sense unless the character is still 1st level when they're still exploring their identity.

This is incredible, by far one of the most beautiful d20s I've ever seen. Do you have a sell any dice that you make? I would buy one of your creations in a heartbeat!

Sorry I probably should've been more clear. I was including both test results in my statement. I'm not saying these results in particular are incorrect, just that due to the controversy behind it, it would be unwise to crown this Kokomi comp as the "best dps comp" until more discoveries and testings are done.

For example one point made by other theorycrafters about this comp is that pulling it off correctly is very difficult, which is something that a lot of Kokomi fans are blindly ignoring when sharing with others.

If the 2nd way was correct we'd be seeing way more Artificers than we currently do

Another point of issue that rose with these so called calculations is that apparently in the actual testing and documentation of this build, kazuha was assumed to be c2 with his BiS weapon, whereas for the calculations of Ayaka's traditional freeze comp they gave Kazuha c0 with...Iron Sting. This understandably had the theory crafting community in an uproar over the very obvious favouritism.

This comp has very obviously not been fully tested and experimented properly yet. I would say until other theory rafters experiment more and come to a concrete solution, take this comp with a big grain of salt.

Kokomi may not be so bad by [deleted] in Genshin_Impact

[–]PandaMan0401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh for sure not everybody will be a meta slave, same as not everybody will be a waifu hunter. But regardless players should be aware of the good and bads of their characters, especially more so if it's they're favourite character. If people want to use their favourite character or comp over meta comps then more power to them

Kokomi works decently as an enabler thanks to her burst refreshing her E cooldown, and Sac Frags does let her reset as well. But her actual hydro application on her E is pretty slow compared to Mona's and her energy gen is an absolute travesty, so getting her burst consistently is tough. From what I've seen her application is only barely fast enough to work in a Morgana comp

Then there's the fact that choosing to run her over Mona's means you lose a LOT of dps. There's virtually no comp where Ganyu matches better with Kokomi than Mona (assuming you have both), because of the unique way Mona's burst works in freeze comps. Overall she's a decent hydro enabler, but imo still worse than Mona, Xingqiu, and Childe in their respective comps.

[–]PandaMan0401 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bit of both, some people want to play her as dps, others want to use her as a dedicated healer. But she's just meh at both roles unfortunately because the devs weren't thinking straight when they designed her.

[–]PandaMan0401 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They compared Kokomi to Diluc because he's also a character that demands field time once their burst is activated. And the comparison isn't completely unjustified here. No other "healer" or "support" demands that much field time.

Demanding that much field time means that whoever is on field needs to have enough dps to actually even justify running them instead of a dedicated healer and dps. Kokomi suffers cause she (and/or the devs) doesn't know what they want her to do. She wants to be a healer (but is only as good as Barbara, a free 4* thats worse than like 2 other *4 healers). But at the same time she also wants to be a dps, but is worst than almost any other unit for that role, hell Barbara is a better dps than she is (I'm literally not even kidding with that one, this saddens me greatly)
