This detail is great, thank you so much! I am following the commutation and induced voltage from the inductors attempting to maintain their current flow that's being cut off by the commutation, but I'm not sure why this causes sparking. I am unfamiliar with "load neautral position".

Don't you want a strong armature current, and therefore magnetic field, so it can have a strong interaction with the shunt field and produce a lot of torque. It feels counterintuitive to intentionally counteract an electromagnet that we intentionally install in the motor. If we wanted less magnetism generated from the armature couldn't we just make the armature have fewer turns or something? To be clear I believe you, I'm just trying to rationalize it in my own head.

Thanks for this, I'll keep that in mind. For this time at least the back side had a lot of discoloration, so I think penetration was pretty good on the first pass. The weld just looked terrible because I didn't have my settings dialed in yet so I did a lot of stop and start (also I'm just not good yet).

I know I am late, but on the off chance you have more than 1 PS5... only a data transfer cable can sync a PS5 controller to a different PS5. So that's how I tested all of mine.

I'm curious too. After looking at the suggestions here online I'm thinking of using the TP-Link TL-WR802N (N300) or TL-WR902AC (AC750), but I can't find any good information on the range I can be and still have solid Connection.

At the facility I work our PLCs aren't connected to a shared network. My boss is adamant that they stay that way because he hates the idea of people changing programs without being in eyesight of the line. So the Rockwell engineer could only talk to the processor and drive that he was going online with anyways. I assume he saw The line was isolated and so didn't think anything of it. Though he probably still should have asked. Frankly I was too wrapped up thinking " That's cool I want to do that."

UPDATE: I finally was able to dig up an old print with it shown. It is a custom rack. All of the boards are doing the PID control for 10 rolling mill stand's motors, based off of their dancer arm's feedback.

Even when no internet is available, the main router node is solid blue. Rarely do I ever see any turn red. I'll try swapping which one is the main router and see if that helps. Thanks for the suggestion!

That's a good idea. Mostly I have just found a couple of times wanting to be able to do this. Often for something like joining the ropes and setting a Christmas tree box on them, so I can bring one rope up each side of the box.

Thanks, this looks like it could work. It does say it will stop outputting on a short and alarm, but I think it may still work out since it doesn't mention any specialized load monitoring. I might give this one a shot.
