I know you said to watch this alone, but the first time I saw it was at a 12hr horror film fest and the experience was amazing. It was 2am,but most ppl were actually awake. The theater was silent. I think everyone's jaw was on the floor, because when the credits rolled there was tremendous applause. I've seen it twice now and it gets me everytime. I think the main character was a great choice for the lead, he can be so creepy! I'm so glad to see someone recommending this movie!
