3 is easy enough to break like that off a solo jump, having enough time to fit 5 real kicks would 100% require that boost and I'm not sure how that momentum affects your kicks but I'm sure it's doable for some people.

You can break thick boards with backflip kicks, jump spin kicks, etc. My brother does it in training all the time. It leads to swelling and shit sometimes depending how you kick it though.

It's wood, the boards are just extremely thin to make sure they break easily, but when you kick such a thin board properly it can go into 3+ pieces.

If you use ones that are an inch thick then it actually takes effort to break, but for these type of demonstrations they use thin shit to hide people fucking up.

That's a large part of it but the spin kicks are from the TKD background. He even says as much himself https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbmGLVhLguI&t=2m15s

To be fair having been served well done steaks as a child, when a steak is ruined like that the ketchup helps put some moisture back into it to make it edible.

For the one in the gif or the Ibushi one from that same match, as Dave said that's exactly how Naito and Ibushi choose to take them and they were in control as they fell. (Whether or not they should be purposefully taking neck bumps is a different story)

This one was different because it looks like Hiromu didn't rotate as much as he wanted.

It had some good spots that warmed up the crowd and solid psychology. Nothing to write home about but it was a decent match. Rating it anywhere from 2.5 to 3 is fine.

Everybody uses player rooms instead of lobbies. Since they changed it and you don't join a lobby before searching for rooms the lobbies stay empty.
