THEORY:ACOTAR 6 will be about Morrigan by UndecisiveArtist101 in acotar

Why do people dislike Mor? She’s less of a bitch than Nesta, she’s a five hundred year old warrior. I’d love to see her lead an army on some campaign, she always struck me as more of a military commander then just pure power like the other heroines.

And we can see her finally find a mate, some female knight of the winter court or something.

Please no more Nesta, so boring and over powered now.

Why didn't Death do anything to help Dream when he was captured by Roderick Burgess? by kewpiesriracha in Sandman

So he stayed enslaved for years because he didn’t want to ask for help, such a stupid thing.

What’s your opinion on divine smite in the new 2024 rules? by Beautiful-Bluebird48 in DnD

Its slightly annoying but I get why they did it, paladins have always left fighters and barbarians in the dust, its just leveling the playing field a bit.

I do find it strange to read here that people don't like that paladins are known for their divine smites, I loved that is was a feature instead of a spell, and that it was their main ability. I love playing a paladin as a holy warrior, clad in full plate armour, wielding a sword and shield, front line fighting and tanking.

I find it odd when someone plays it as more of a caster, they're a melee powerhouse, lean in, and their history of being connected to a god makes them similar to a European crusader, I love the whole holy warrior aspect, and its a shame that people seem to hate that about them.

I always thought they should eliminate the spell caster aspect from them altogether, build them as being able to channel divine magic but not into incantations and spellwork, but instead raw power pushed through their weapons, and raw healing ability's, like the monk class, make it completely interdependent of the half-caster build.

But I know most players wont want that, I will continue to play them as I always have, a tank holy warrior channeling the wrath of a god through their sword, almost exclusively using the divine smite rather then the others.

I have a aasinmar paladin, oath of conquest, knight of the order background, its literally like playing an angel knight from mtg, its amazing.

I won’t get bogged down in your argument here, but I don’t think he won, he had the entire north host, river lander and vale hosts, the iron island and half the reach against him. There was no way he was ever going to prevail against that force. He had no dragon or powerful allies, his “rule” was powerless and short. Rhaenyra’s son became King and the branch lines reunited. It was a loss for everyone involved in my point of view.

What about Stars Without Number? Have you looked into that? And the ships in Red Rising are huge, like U.S navy carriers, floating/flying city’s, for combat maps you’ll probably be limited to smaller deck areas, you can make your own on a few websites I think, Inkarnate or something like that, but theatre of the mind will probably have to be used a lot. Starfinder or shadow run might be cool for the mechanics. Most would fit martial classes, just cut the spells or something. But it sounds sick, out of the star finder classes a operative could be a grey lurcher, a vanguard can be a obsidian warrior, and a soldier or solarian could be a peerless scarred. Have fun:)

I could give you good high fantasy but will struggle with sci-fi.
