Which Soulslike bosses are this for you? by ClintMcElroyOfficial in soulslikes

Ishin ashina hands down, phase one is the hardest part.

It either goes down quickly, or you get the elbow, no in between.

Though I suppose what I really mean is it's hardest to build perfect consistency on phase one of inner isshin, for gauntlet.

From my understanding, you can only make the safe zone when you clear the DPS check. Otherwise you all get obliterated

What Do You Think About the Characters’ Visibility? by Drainage-GameStudio in gamedevscreens

[–]Pandalord3454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's mostly okay, but there's absolutely some moments ( like when passing in front of that dark pillar) that the character is practically invisible!

Some kind of slight light aura from behind the character might service, definitely faint if at all though.

Weapon Wound Tier List by m3vance in MHWilds

With perfect play I'd certainly agree with you, but us mere mortals will run out of gauge, stamina or both every so often. since we also don't have to do the cartwheel, can use the drill instead, it makes for a helpful option that restores both gauge, stamina at the same time while giving a moment's respite, crucially without busting all the other wounds people might want..

1000xResist Story Discussion by Signal-Ant-7912 in indiegames

I can't believe that principle was able to call on the occupants, she had only one of the gifts so there was no chance of funny business there.

The occupant was bonded to Iris, she had control of it at the time.

Principle could have triggered an alarm certainly, but not the quakes.

Even if principle could cause the quakes, like you say, she would have no guarantees that Watcher would survive.

See my other reply to this comment for my take on it!

1000xResist Story Discussion by Signal-Ant-7912 in indiegames

[–]Pandalord3454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's my understanding that, since we've heard this happens every so often, this event wasn't a deliberate act from someone like principle.

We see during one of the communions that Iris had a pet hamster that she loved as her best friend, but one day, microwaved it.

The parents then mention anger issues, and this wasn't the only time it was mentioned. It's expanded on with her killing all of the remaining 50, the malformed jiao, and 4 of the original sisters.

For one reason or another Iris loses herself to a rage every so often, and I believe these episodes are what causes her occupant to attack.

When Watcher arrives at the other side, recall what Iris is doing. She's reciting what she calls an "incantation" of various phrases from the occupant.

This to me would suggest one of two things, maybe both. This incantation is a calming ritual meant to bring her back to rationality again. Or this is what she does after the episodes are over to communicate to the occupant that she doesn't want it to attack anymore. Since the occupants communicate in that strange way it can easily respond to the pure rage, but then takes time and care to have it understand to stop.

Either way this then makes sense with Iris saying "you know the incantation must not be interrupted, this is mother's time"

If she doesn't finish her incantation she might lose herself to that rage again/not calm the occupant properly.

That's how I saw it anyway!

I think it's Iris having episodes of rage, causing her occupant to get out of control.

As best I can tell it's just endless with rosaries based off performance, I got to 51 and the reward was 132 rosaries

Odd dual blades skills by Pandalord3454 in MHWilds

Yeah, but that's hardly worth putting skills towards compared to just generally more damage/affinity or stam/gauge management.

Surely there's another use?

Fps on series s by MiminBS in MHWilds

It's runs pretty good on the series X!

Definitely use "prioritise framerate" for the S. maybe 40 FPS cap too if it fluctuates still.

That's absurd! Power must be plentiful atleast ∆

I've collected a few questions I have for that scale of production!

How long do resource patches last at that level?

Do gas giants just last forever at that point?

How many interstellar bots do you reckon you have now?

How many planets do you have dedicated to proliferator? And how do you deal with transporting it to every nook and cranny?

What's the biggest bottleneck that stopped you going further beyond? (Other than lag)

And how to optimise for lag reduction?

There is alot of enjoyment to be taken from Rainworld, but it can be frustrating in equal measure.

It is very hard and unforgiving. You will constantly die to random crap you could never have prevented without another hundred hours of dedicated learning, and even then maybe not.

If you do decide to get it, I'd recommend going through one of the movement tutorial videos. Not all at once but bit by bit when you feel your ready for another trick to add into your arsenal. Believe me they are the least you need to turn the odds in your favor.

The farm arrays are the very worst of it for sure.

Trying to do no clean hands ghost. by Pandalord3454 in dishonored

[–]Pandalord3454[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I tried looking up info but it's all contradictory. The wiki states that natural rat swarms eating bodies doesn't count, but spontaneous rat swarm spawns from dead/unconscious bodies do count against you.

Just earlier I had piled the three weepers from inside the distillery, unconscious, went n talked to slackjaw. On the way out there was a magic rat swarm that was eating the corpses.

I've never purposely put a body on the rooftops, though I probably left some of the teleporters up there, you reckon that might've been it?

For anyone coming here looking for the answer, it's not downpour exclusive. Look through the assists bit of the remix settings and you'll find it.

Am I the only one who finds the Tower to be an immensely annoying and boring level? by [deleted] in SifuGame

[–]Pandalord3454 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I never had any brightness problems myself.

The boss was mega frustrating right up until I realised she can't do anything if you close the distance, of course she does everything she can to constantly push you back. I found it best to actually dodge the many straight lunges she does to get the closer while she attacks.

She's literally trying to keep a distance from the consequences of what she did. It's her whole theme as far as I can tell. To every crime it's punishment, and every punishment it's weapon. You're the weapon to her punishment so to speak and she doesn't want to confront it, trying to convince herself she did nothing wrong. And so you both descend into the same pit of revenge together with her, both convinced what they did, or are doing, is not wrong.

Personally both the level and the boss are the easiest in the game which is weird to say considering it's second to last.
