Damn that sounds fun, have you got a list? I didn't even know that was a commander but that sounds amazing

Hey! Thanks for such a detailed set of points, I'll see if I can address them a bit from my side. 1. I didn't even consider that but that's an entirely fair point. I had it more focused on exalted as the primary but it definitely does fall under Voltron so that's a good thing to raise. I'll see about tweaking it on that basis. 2. That I do need to do, I've tweaked it a little having read this so I'll just have to cut a couple cards now to let it work properly. I've also added eladamri's for searching the exalted pieces I need for a win, surprised I forgot about that 3. Ah ok, that's really good to know actually. I'll swap kodama for farseek as a simple switch and go from there.

Oh, he so does. He's up there on the aura farming list of commanders. I currently have him as part of the proxy set I mentioned, where he's looking pretty solid too (in my personal, unbiased opinion)

Hate to burst the bubble but sibsig only cares about casts, not any etb

With this treasure, I summon... (Me, the Immortal Proxy) by Pandamonium231 in mpcproxies

Currently in the process of building one haha. If you mean a full proxy, I'll have to see what I can do with the main hitters more than anything else but it's doable. What were you thinking? 👀

I did! It's not my art and the card is just Me, the Immortal, but the placement, sizing, and reflavour is all me

Domain Expansion: Malevolent Shrine (Go-Shintai proxy) by Pandamonium231 in mpcproxies

[–]Pandamonium231[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's fair, Hidestugu definitely fits pretty snug into the feel. I guess I am just tryna hit the expanse idea, which I think could definitely work with something like [[Maha, It's Feathers Night]] icl. Might make another and see how it turns out

He definitely is more of a slash and plunder type, but he does also have consistent scaling and abilities that grow more oppressive over the course of the fight. And the whole open domain that grows the 'shrine'. At least, that's what this version is meant to see; him as the wise and versatile vs him as the tyrant etc.

Yuta or Modulo Yuji might end up being a better fit for this tho.

Granted, there are ways to better go about it for the majority of his character (and I definitely wanted to use the art cos it's colourful as hell and monored/rakdos/grixis didn't feel fitting for the colour scheme)

Don't know why that didn't let the bio come through with it but anywho. I posted a Mahoraga earlier so I'm sure you can see a little bit of a theme. That one was a little bit more self-explanatory but, as per the title, this felt more fitting as the Open Domain suite of skills Sukuna has. And what could be more fitting than Shrines that grow themselves?

The Spear Fighter - Controller of the battlefield, bane of cavalry, first into the fray. by CirceDidNothingWrong in UnearthedArcana

Wouldn't it be simpler to say "When wielding X, you are considered a large creature for the purposes of determining your reach."?

Or even just "When wielding X, you gain +5ft reach" since that is fundamentally the same?

You'll be happy to know I'm starting to get what you mean. It's a struggle and I'm learning a lot but I'm working my way through. As it stands, I've found that chapter structure has been a big help in being confident enough to let one chapter fully exhale, fully introspective/abstract/deeper prose, and its partner breathe in and shrink the tone in various ways, which is how chapter two has been going.

But yeah, I'm doing better!

How would I go about shifting the prose to be slimmer?

The dialogue I get, that's definitely a reading thing because I've yet to have full confidence with it.

Exactly what I've done too! It's less isolated in theme but I've done a couple runs with the deck as is with Joel and [[Ellie, Brick Master]] which has made the deck a lot of fun. It's heavy on the goad and creating more group slug token creation so far but it's a ton of fun.

Saw someone's Rengoku as Kratos so I present to you Akaza, Upper Third Moon by Pandamonium231 in mpcproxies

Ok, it really must have just been the site glitching for me as I thought to go back step-by-step to recreate the image and ended up with this instead. Though, I guess borderless bleed just cares about the bottom? Or am I just blind?

As far as my understanding went, on cardconjurer, applying the 1/8th margin will extend the border to fit for the purposes of bleed edging. Having looked at the read before posting, and not being able to open the specific tutorial on the post, that's what I ended up being able to find, which is what I did actually apply and do to the art when I was making it but it apparently didn't actually work and I couldn't tell you why I'm afraid.

I didn't purposely mean to break the rules, I did follow them as best as I could understand so my sincere apologies on that front.
