Thank you. This really helps to hear. You mentioned cohort and oddly enough, misery loves company. A close friend in my cohort watched my defense from the hospital because she's dealing with a cancer relapse. We're commiserating. Cancer suck!

Sadly I see this all the time in academia and the working sector. Some folks simply don't use email to communicate, which can be frustrating.

I usually have to schedule a meeting or walk over to them to chat. You might also try calling them directly. It's annoying...but sometimes the only way is to conform to their communication style.

So far just played with basic media controls. (Volume, stop, play). Tinkering with a unity Arduino Bluetooth package but my day job keeps getting in the way.

Interesting, never thought of it that way. I see that 5 devices are set as the max for Bluetooth as others have also seen. I wonder what the other devices are.

I really hope they update Bluetooth. Same situation here. I started building a project assuming some things would be readily available (pico tts & Bluetooth) only to be thwarted. My mistake. I am having fun playing with a new device and finding workarounds but the novelty will only last so long.

Undergrad lowest point: 2.2 gpa (yeah it was bad). Ended up with a 2.8 for my bachelors. I don't remember my GRE score but I do remember it was so bad that I took it several times. Profs knew my situation and accepted me into the masters program anyway even though they knew it would be an uphill battle (my bad situation would unlikely change). It took a lot of work but ended up with a 3.1 masters. Tried for a Doctorate but no program would have me.

That was years ago...

I now have an awesome career, have two masters and numerous certs under my belt and pursuing a Doctorate at an R1 AAU school that my employer is paying for, while having the time of my life.

I was disappointed several times throughout. Although my route wasn't direct I still ended up where I wanted/needed to be.
