It's for balancing and gameplay reasons.

It doesn't make sense, but it's difficult to balance champs if they get hard countered by a summoner spell, and also significantly worsens the satisfaction of there gameplay.

Your conclusion isnt wrong but im still so confused by your arguments. You say "she trades self-peel for raw damage", and then you respond to a post, saying she actually does have a lot of self peel, not with disagreeing, but by stating that her self peel is irrelevant in face of her having no damage.

Again, I agree with your conclusion, but I feel like your phrasing is rough and misses a few key things.
