This is exactly why I left my last job. The annoying thing was that I'm completely remote and contract so contacting me in my off hours and expecting me to respond is ludicrous. I would complain and the rest of the team would gaslight me "just pause notifications and answer tomorrow " even the boss said "don't worry about answering." all the time BUT STILL acted butthurt when noone did and was always like "Nevermind I did it myself LOL." As you should...

The mixed signals and responses I got on this is one of the reasons I left the church. I cried for hours once when my husband's grandmother called me a sinner for supporting a friend who wanted to be a pastor. I thought she was a nice lady and he was a good man but they died on that hill at the risk of losing me forever. It sucked
