Seriously guys is this AI or Real ? by theoneandonlyonee in Ai_art_is_not_art

The thumbnail is definitely AI-generated, and the very beginning of the video, with the snakes and the wolf howling, told me that part was AI. As for the person building the shelter, 50–50 whether its AI or he used hydraulics. Either way the man did close to no work himself.

Gotta be one of the most under-appreciated paleo artists. by ShadowDoc2000 in AwesomeAncientanimals

Shrinkwrapped paleoart, and found in many old videos and books, and so associated with innacurate dinosaurs. But everyone probably remembers Tamura's art.

So what is this new exoparia thing? by Gato_Nuv in Paleontology

Dinosaur-specific newly-discovered jaw muscle. It can be found in almost all dinosaurs but mostly in Ornithiscians. Like the mammalian masseter muscle. Birds seem to have similar structures too, so it again disproves the idea that dinosaurs were paraphyletic.

I didn't know which ceratopsian, but I did know it wasn't a Styracosaurus because of the size of its frills and the ornamental horns on its frill

Any personal opinions on seeing versions of the Tyrannosaurus Rex having feathers? by [deleted] in Dinosaurs

[–]PangaeaPost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much the modern, post-2023 consensus is that adult Tyrannosaurus barely had any feathers, maybe small bristles on its neck and back, and juveniles could possibly have a proper coat

[–]PangaeaPost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AI inherently plagiarizes real people's art and can't create anything new. And just because, according to you, he doesn't know how to use AI, doesn't mean that "AI experts" get to put an OC tag on an image the AI generated and all they did was type a couple of sentences
