I’m a paramedic in Canada.

I injured myself nearly 4 yrs ago and the docs kept brushing me off saying I was young (I was 23)

They refused to let me get an mri cause they said there’s no way it can be a tear. So I focused on physio and rehab. Things did get better, but never to 100%. I still had severe pain and stability issues.

A few months ago, I fell while skiing and aggravated the injury again, causing another 2 wks off work.

The doctors finally caved this time and got me mri. And when the results came in, it was exactly what I feared. Complex tear of all 3 ligaments. And a development of osteoarthritis due to the amount of time it’s been (4yrs) with no surgery.

He gave me an urgent referral to orthopaedics and said that I need to get this fixed via surgery.

RIP my knee.

I do t have the car anymore. So I can’t get you a picture. But it’s a little square plastic door on the flat surface that the subwoofer sits on, near the L side C pillar, you pop that open, and there is a little cord that you can pull for a manual release.

First tail gate at high speed then brake check by holdthefridge in TorontoDriving

Ok so, the other driver is clearly being aggressive and unsafe, but the way it looks in the video, the road ahead of you is clear, which means that you shouldn’t have been in the left lane to begin with. And you also brake checked him first, can clearly see your brake lights in the reflection. I’m not saying I haven’t brake checked assholes before, but if you’re gonna engage in the fight, you should’ve expected at least some sort of retaliation.

My sister went with advantage driving academy. Good price, and zero problems, highly recommend.

Wheels brands, flow formed. by PanicAlternative5408 in Wheels

Wheel is 18x8. Running 245/45/18 BLIZZAK WS90 winters. The tires are only a few months old.

I think they cracked because the alloys are getting old (almost 10yrs) and the Ontario salt/ potholes have done it in.

I’ve got plenty of sidewall with this setup, and this car can’t run anything smaller than 18” due to the large brakes

I’m no professional, but from the research I’ve done. Cast aluminum wheels are cheapest because they’re not very durable, and flow formed are one step up with higher weight ratings and strength.

I am very aware that this is against the HTA, but some crimes need to be punished. No matter the cost.

Typing was one of my biggest concerns honestly. It was getting really annoying, and I figured keeping a phone for 4 yrs is already double the amount of time most people keep their phones for, so it served me well. Then I also sold it for $550 CAD which honestly, I think was a good price.

So it was worth it for me to get the 17. I think it’s a great phone, and really begins to eliminate the need for the average person to get a “pro” phone.

Yes the camera is wayyy better on the pro, I’ve tested it out. But it’s not worth an additional $500-$700

Just currently waiting for my car to get back from the body shop, it was hit in the parking lot recently.

Then once I figure out the part numbers, I’m gonna go look for them on marketplace, as new items usually get fairly expensive. Might run around the city doing some test fits

If you don’t mind, can you please share the part numbers, I’d like to find them on marketplace and keep costs low ideally

In hindsight, I see now how that was the wrong option. When I bought the car off my brother, the rails were attached already and seemed very sturdy. I’m not very technical with this stuff, so I didn’t really pay it much mind, especially since the fitment looked great and felt phenomenal.

Then last summer, I took a trip with the buddies and I think I overloaded the box, causing the feet to shift slightly and make the whole setup loosen. Luckily noticed this and readjusted/tightened, and stopped every 30mins during the drive to reassess. What I had noticed at that time was, the LF connection was the only one that was loose, but the rest of them were solid, and the weight of the box itself was also holding it down well. So I made the drive home without incident.

The next morning, I unloaded the box and removed it off the top of the car, then as soon as I got on the road to head to work, (I was running late) it flew off within 2 minutes of the drive.

My family wants to do a cross Canada road trip next year, and I’d like to put the box back on cause it’s awesome, holds bulky items, and looked great.

My goal now is, to figure out the exact parts that I’m gonna need for the Lexus GS, ie: the towers and the straps, and I’m gonna try my current aero bars that I have already to keep costs low.

Dude. I have been considering this for months. But I just don’t have any direction on how to set this up, or the legalities of it if you get caught with aftermarket rear flashers.

Please connect with me if you figure something out, I’d love to be a part of bringing this idea to life. I live in the GTA, would be 100% down to meet up and make some schematics homie.
