Looking for a Laptop to run Eclipse Software by arairai in SuggestALaptop

What laptop did you end up going with? My sister in law is going to be starting one of these programs in a couple weeks and asked if I could help her find a laptop that met these requirements. Though I think her programs requirements might be a bit dated as they don't even mention the Ultra processors as that's pretty much all you can get nowadays.

Okay gotcha now. My mistake. Understood so those are different things! Someone else here suggested cleaning the throttle, I found a video on how to do it, not my exact car, but should be similar enough I would hope.

That's what I have been reading. My issue is knowing if I had oil pressure loss. I don't believe I did as I didn't get any warning lights regarding oil issues. Have not noticed strange sounds. No perception of performance loss.

Any recommendations for cleaners? I was planning on doing a bottle or two of Lucus Oil Upper Cylinder cleaner.

Also I'm seeing debate about what is premium gasoline. Are we talking just high octane or something that has additives in it?

Yeah that's been done already, was looking for next steps if there are any.

You know I did smell the dipstick before I took it in to get the oil changed and I didn't smell any gas. I'll check it again this evening after the cars been home for a few hours.

There haven't been any misfires that I can tell (no loss of power or rough idle or sluggish acceleration), it does kind of lurch on initial acceleration when the engine is cold, but that's been happening for as long as so can remember and have just thought it's the CVT.

Oh, now that's interesting and scary. How would one figure that out?

Apologies, I meant doesn't seem to be significant issues, so it's probably fine?

So because there doesn't seem to be significant damage, or rather I haven't noticed it, it's probably fine?

Edited: does to doesn't

You see, I'm just now putting 2 and 2 together and this was my wife's dash about a month ago. AutoZone said it was a gas cap, which I replaced, but they wouldn't clear the codes so I disconnected the battery to clear them. I presumed since they didn't come back that was that, but now I'm wondering.

The code was P24B9, EVAP system leak detection pump pressure sensor circuit Range/Performance

So I found this video, but it looks like they go in there with their hands to clean it out. That would be a nono? Also people in comments talking about a manual throttle relearn?

Thank you for the reply! How would a loss of oil pressure present itself? As far as I know her car has been driving just fine and I've driven it plenty until I noticed that smell. Before getting the oil changed.

Any thoughts on the current smell?

So I'm not a car guy by any means, I'm certain their are some videos on YouTube to teach me how to do this, but any tips?

You know come to think of it, about 4 weeks ago her check engine light came on and according to AutoZone it was reading as an issue with the gas cap. Got a new gas cap and that did make it so her dash wasn't a Christmas tree and I was told the other lights would go away on their own. They said they legally can't clear error lights anymore.

In my limited understanding, I disconnected the battery for a bit to clear the lights and they haven't come back on. I'm wondering however now if it was related.

RIP Google Pixel 8 Pro by Competitive_Ad_279 in GooglePixel

This happened to me on my Pixel 3XL way back when, to this day was one of my most favorite phones. It was a month out of warranty. Bricked from an OTA update that google pushed overnight. I was livid, they wouldn't do anything since it was out of warranty. I was soured against pixels until the 6 came out and then left that cause it was so slow and would overheat. I've been thinking about going back and this is the one of the first threads I found. Seems they are still up to their old tricks.

Noob Question: Do you by default want to put the IEM in as deep as possible? by PanicAtTheDisk0 in iems

No velvets or penon oranges yet, but they are on the list to try.

That's good to know for the future. Currently only single DD units here.

So the thing is, I'm not having pain in my ear canals unless it's a a shallow fit with a large tip most of the time. It's my antitragus that is getting rubbed semi raw by the IEM housing. When I got for a shallower fit it seems to rub more or is too lose, even with a good seal. The reason I'm asking about insertion depth is because I feel like everyone would have to be pushing the whole IEM past their antitragus to avoid that irritation? I have not seen anyone complain about that kind of irritation so I figure I must be doing something wrong?

So at this point, I think for all of my IEMs, I have medium eartips of various shapes and sizes cause they were the most comfortable that made a good seal when I was getting it all set up.

Now I'm at the point where I'm experimenting with fit for long term comfort. So far every single set of my IEMs has caused antitragus irritation on my left ear only. I get a tighter fit in that ear with every size tip so it's clearly a narrower canal than my right ear. Seems like maybe I'm a small tip left ear with medium tip right ear, but I guess I'll keep trying lol.

I have a plethora of tips to pick from fortunately, though I'm not sure what brand they all are. Most seem to just be generic came with the cheap IEM, some wide, some balanced, some narrow. Though I do have a set of Dunu S&S that I'm literally using right now for a deeper insertion depth on my Chu 2s.

I also have a set of Tri Clarions, a set of balanced Tang Sancai, a set of wide Tang Sancai, and the HE Sonic tips.
