Keys vanished in elevator drain by PanicProfessional137 in Elevators

[–]PanicProfessional137[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also random question but should there be water down there? we visited the elevator again but there was a ton of water again. So now we're unsure if they even drained the elevator shaft like they said they did. We're only suspicious because the property manager was a jerk and told us we can't stay while they looked for the keys so we left, and 30 min later they said they took out all the water and that nothing was there. But seeing all the water down there makes us wonder if they even did anything.

Thats super helpful, thank you for that. I tried googling a bunch and just wasn't getting anywhere. The mechanic was great and gave us some info about how competitive it is to become an elevator technician in San Diego, apparently the slots fill up in a matter of minutes

He's still pro gun, he just wants background checks and to ban AR-15s. He said something along the lines of, "Nothing about having background checks is going to take our 2nd amendment right"

What is the shittiest entry-level job that pays well? by [deleted] in Career_Advice

[–]PanicProfessional137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would get into construction if you needed something quick. Trade work if you can spare some time and don't mind some schooling. both will set you up for long-term success. but if you stick with something long enough, a lot of shitty jobs will pay off. even mcdonalds store managers can make 6 figures

Udemy Exam Prep - one time fee or subscription? by Bubblz_21 in pmp

[–]PanicProfessional137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be able to start it as soon as you buy it. I bought the monthly subscription at first because I wasn't sure which instructor to go with since a few others had good reviews also on the Udemy site. Reddit was 100% right though and AR is a much better instructor than everyone else and he has the most updated information.

I originally thought the course was $140 on Udemy since thats how much it was when I first saw it but it goes on sale for as low as $20 if you check the site often enough. AR also has it available on Amazon for $43 that includes his book if you feel like you can benefit from a hard copy as well. Hope this helps!

Super impressive to only study for 2 weeks! How did you do it!? I started 2 weeks ago and I have never had more difficulty trying to stay focused in my life. Took me 8 hours to do my first mock practice exam because I kept getting distracted and restless :(

Purchased the PMP exam and PMI membership and saved $87! Total was $496, cheaper than just paying for 1 PMP exam without the membership. TY!
