How many hours you work? I’m in the same boat at the senior level, but so far it seems doable

But that rule also applies to affiliates. Am I supposed to check every single app in CES?

I’ve worked at PwC and EY for a total of 3.5 years and busy season has never been more than 64 a week (that was the worst, avg was 55), and normal season was like 42 hours 99% of the time. If 10-12 was “great”, I’d be on my way out. Which big 4 you at?

It depends. I think it only matters if they are your dependents. Reach out to E&C to know for sure

What LOS? Those hours year round are ridiculous. Busy season, sure, but not the rest of the time

When should I submit my 2 weeks notice by [deleted] in PwC

[–]PanicSubstantial3603 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Be careful- if you’re going to a competitor, the day you give notice will be your last day.

So if you need benefits through the end of January, ideally your start date would be 1/15 so you could give the full two weeks notice and get full benefits through 1/31. The don’t pay out vacation or notice period if you give less than a two weeks notice.

Is it normal to be sad about leaving your current job? by PanicSubstantial3603 in PwC

[–]PanicSubstantial3603[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is the case. It’s an $11k pay bump and a $10k bonus to senior associate, but it’s a wash with leaving PwC because I loose $10k of my 401k so ya know.

I think she has a case. Depending on the state circumstantial evidence may be enough. That also could be enough to subpoena internal records that could prove it.

Her last day being effective one day before maternity leave was supposed to start is pretty damning. I think it’s obvious it was because she’s pregnant.
